Dr. Jacinto Del Mazo, MD

Dr. Del Mazo was my Internal Medicine Specialist and Endo from 1980's until about 2 yrs ago. He has always been very professional, empathetic, knowledgeable and thorough.

Dr. Del Mazo represents the best of the best. I have a rare neurological disorder/disease, which eludes direct physical testing to diagnose. Instead, diagnosis is achieved through a detailed patient history, a thorough physical examination, recognition of subtle physical traits, blood testing to exclude similar disorders/diseases, and (perhaps most importantly) an open mind/motivation to continue to test/diagnose/treat what isn't easy answered. Prior to Dr. Del Mazo, I went through multiple doctors and health professionals in search of a diagnosis/treatment for my multiple symptoms. It was only through his experienced eyes, patient and attentive listening skills, and his tenacity to find answers that brought a diagnosis and treatment. Perhaps the most important point/aspect of my experience with Dr. Del Mazo is the commitment, effort, and investment he makes in long term patient care. Post diagnosis, Dr. Del Mazo has worked tirelessly in his efforts to provide me the best overall care.

There isn’t a better doctor. He’s knowledgeable, kind, attentive. He listens and offers practical advice. I can’t imagine not having him as my physician.

I have never in my life met a man like Dr. DelMazo. He has been our doctor for over 40 years and cannot express enough what a caring person he is. He goes above and beyond to ensure you are cared for and treats every person with dignity and respect. He listens to what you have to say and does what it takes to get you the best care possible. I do not like internet based grading of physicians as the numbers are subject to abuse. There is little to suggest reliability. This is an excellent doctor with great experience, but I recommend him for reasons OTHER than an internet scoring scheme.

Dr. Delmazo has been my doctor for 35 years he has always been caring and compassionate. He is also a very excellent doctor that goes beyond his call to duty ! This was my 1st visit to AGA and I was very pleased with my experience. Dr. del Mazo had an incredibly friendly manner and was very professional. Even in one visit, I feel very comfortable with him and feel that he will do a good job on my future procedure. On another note, I didn't have to wait long at all, which is always a plus.
