Dr. Jack Florin, MD

Dr. Florin diagnosed our 16 year old with POTS in summer 2007 and said, “oh, don’t worry, she’ll be fine in 6 months.” At the time, she was quite debilitated from it, had been so for months, and we were thrilled to learn she would fully recover. However, when we showed up to our next appt with SO MANY questions about POTS and his optimism about her recovery (which no amount of my own research supported) he was offended and tried to shut off my questioning by insulting me and acting all put out. He was one nasty piece of work. Thank God we got in to see Dr. Blair Grubb later that year, a POTS specialist in Toledo, Ohio who truly understands the illness and its long term impacts. He gave us a much more realistic view of the condition and spent HOURS with my daughter and I. She’s 34 now and has learned how to live with POTS. She clearly was NOT fine 6 months after her diagnosis as Dr. Florin assured us she would be. Worst physician experience EVER. Steer clear of this guy.

MISDIAGNOSED ME. I SUFFERED BRUTALLY because of his misdiagnosis. He should be retired if he causes harm to patients by telling them they have deadly diseases which they later discover are MISTAKEN

I really respect Dr. Jack Florin‘s opinion he was my doctor diagnosed me with my condition that took over a year for other drs to figure out what it was and is always helpful his office is very clean and staff is very professional and friendly they go above and beyond. I highly recommend going to Dr. Jack Florin if you have a neurological condition he’s very professional and always willing to listen to what you have to say to provide suggestions for a better treatment and care. Janette is the best I’ve had to work with her multiple times btwn my insurance company and my medical group when it comes to getting Btx injections for my neurological condition they make it rather difficult to be approved but Janette is on top of it and always is helpful in getting it the medication approved on time before my next appointment. When I had to switch neurologist bc Dr. Florin was no longer contracted with my medical group I was beyond thrilled to find out he was under my insurance again! Ty

I just went for cognitive tests based on an mri THAT showed no deterioration based on his advice. Seriously? That is why I got another opinion so dont sluff iff patients who take care of themselves!

If a doctor humiliates me in front of his scribe and then I leave and cry and vomit then it it’s the last time I ever go to that doctor With such a dogmatic attitude towards women,such a poor attitude and arrogant maybe it’s time to retire doctor

Dr. Jack Florin has been my doctor for more than 20 years now. I have a rare medical condition called myasthenia gravis. Not any doctor is willing to treat my illness. I have been turned away from some doctors. due to a lack of knowledge of the illness. I thank god sent him to me.

I am a patient of both Dr Florin and his physician’s assistant Allison. Both are professional and thorough. In addition, the front staff is excellent.

We love Dr. Florin! After bouncing from one neuro to another without feeling like we were getting complete and expert care for my husband's MS, we finally landed in Dr. Florin's office and now feel so relieved. The office staff is so kind and helpful. And, while Dr. Florin is direct and to-the-point, he also really cares about his patients and is very involved in the MS community. Personally, we like directness so it doesn't bother us. :-)

My mother has been seeing Dr. Florin for about two years, it took me 8 years to find a good neurologist that actually knew what he was doing so I was pleased. Until today that is, my mother had an appointment with Dr. Florin and he personally informed her that today would be her last appointment as he is no longer in the network she is in. I am absolutely livid about this!!! No time like the present to find a new doctor let alone get an appointment before her medications run out.

He’s a really good neurologist, I trust his opinion over other neurologists I’ve seen. His office staff is top notch and will go above and beyond. It’s obvious Dr Florin and his staff make value each and every patient and make sure to provide the best care.

Dr.Florin & his staff have gone above and beyond for me. Dr.Florins passion for his work and the dedication that he shows to his patients is unparalleled. He truly listens to what your going through and has your best interest at heart. After suffering from migraines for 30 years they became frequent and severe. Often so bad I wondered if I wasn't having an aneurysm. My quality of life was horrible. I was afraid to go anywhere, make vacation plans, I was even ready to quit working. Dr Florin's staff got me in to see him fairly quickly.
