Dr. Jack Kunberger, MD

I have had my 3rd and last horrible experience with Dr. Kunberger. He is not kind nor patient and can be very rude with his comments. He has no problem telling you if you are taking too much of his time and if you have brought up too many questions. There is nothing worse than going through a terrible medical issue and being treated poorly when you are at your worst mentally and physically and needing someone to help you. My trust is completely gone with this Dr. and I have found a new one with wonderful reviews. I wish I would have seen his reviews sooner. I may have sparred myself some very poor treatment.

I had the pleasure of meeting with what turned out to be one of the worst doctors I've ever had. Had his own agenda check. , Outright lies, check. Read the other reviews. Their not lying in the leas.

Dr. Kunberger treated me 3 years ago, I've held on to this for a while as I didn't want to be reactive or harsh. But his care and concern for me were terrible. Patient follow up was terrible. I had to be my own advocate 100% for my thyroid problem. He belittled me and spoke down to me during our appointment. He blew off 2 of the 3 things I saw him for. When the test results came in, I always had to pressure his office to even look at them. Thyroid problems were confirmed and I was scheduled with a pediatric ENT. I was prescribed heart medication when I hadn't been seen by a physician in 3 months. A formal complaint is going in with Parkview and the Indiana State Department of Health on Dr. Kunberger's negligence with my care. If you are a woman STEER CLEAR.

I was asked if it would be ok for a student to examine me before Dr Kunberger would come in. I agreed. During our examination I remembered that I had a mole I wanted check. Last year I had a pre-cancer mole removed. She said no problem and said she would let Dr. Kunberger know. After she left the room a couple of moments later I heard Dr. Kunberger say in an elevated voice "I don't understand why people wait till the last minute, and then come in here with a laundry list of things". I will be looking for a new doctor that has time to listen to my concerns.

I would never recommend him to anyone I cared about. He doesn't listen or care about us.

Whoever answered the phone needs to learn how to talk to people. I called to ask if they were accepting new patients and she asked who referred me. I said no one I was looking for a family doctor. She said rudely if I was looking for suboxone. I’m like what the heck. No I just need a family doctor. She’s like there are other doctors in Fort Wayne. Wow. What a well I won’t say. Never will recommend this doctor if that’s the way they treat people!!

My husband, my son and myself have always had a good experience here. The staff is helpful and friendly. Dr. Kunberger always takes time to sit and explain things and/or answer any questions.

There is never a long wait, which tells me they are efficient with scheduling. They are great with my kids. He sticks around until all of your questions are answered. Very personable. I appreciate the relaxed attitude and environment. Doctor offices usually give me anxiety. We've gone to him for three years now.

Excellent doctor & staff is incredible!!

Doesn't listen to you he has his own agenda. Can never get in to see him which sends you to the walk in clinic. Staff is rude and good luck trying to get this office to answer the phone.
