He was good until he wasnt
Dr. Pollard had been my OBGYN for years, but when I began to advocate for my health, he became condescending. After being placed on birth control I expressed concern about increasing anxiety and 25lb weight gain in a year. Aside from this one factor, my weight has always been stable. He dismissed my concerns asking if I ran 3 miles a day, stating if I didn't, he wouldn't believe the BC was causing me to gain weight. Whaaaaat?! Then when I asked for my tubes to be tied, he declined telling me I would change my mind once I found the love of my life. I asked more than once. He never referred me to someone who would do it. Find a doctor who will be receptive to your concerns and respect your wishes to not have children.

Had endometriosis. He tried for two years to convince me that I was complaining about cramps while the pain became more and more unbearable. He robbed me of health and made me feel crazy. He didn’t even order a fibroids test until my boyfriend came in to back me up that I wasn’t just complaining about cramps! He never believed I had endometriosis. Another doctor I finally found had me scheduled for surgery due to my overwhelming symptoms after a couple months. Do not see this doctor.

Dr Jack Andrew Pollard-has a nice demeanor but was very condescending. He asked me how I felt then made me feel bad for being anxious about my problems. I couldn't wait to get out of the office with him. And, he didn't seem very knowledgeable.

Dr. Pollard makes me feel like I am not just a patient coming in for a routine, he takes his time to explain everything to me and gives the truth. I'm glad I found him as it's hard to find doctors who actually care abut their patients.
