Incompetence
I was seen by Dr Ramage and I had a procedure scheduled. I had to cancel the surgery, and I alerted Dr. Ramage‘s office and the endoscopy center. I have for the last five weeks had to endure phone calls, texts, letters in my chart because my procedure was never taken off the books by either of them. I had to make several calls to both offices and still it was never taken off the books. The lack of competence of the staff at both places is intolerable.I will never use them again nor will I ever recommend either one of them to anyone. I wish my star rating could have been zero but I had to pick one star in order to get this posted.

Dr. Ramage took care of me today performing my Colonoscopy and Endoscopy. I was having issues swallowing so he performed a dilation at he same time of my esophagus. His bed side manor and very derailed explanation of what he was going to do was everything I needed it to be. I am kind of a fan of his as he helped saved my hubby back in December when he needed a stint put in his bile duct and saw he had a very diseased gall bladder that needed to be removed. Thank you very much Dr. Ramage for making us feel very good after treating us, you are the very best!

The Best.
Dr Ramage diagnosed my pancreatic blockage as source of my symptoms that have been present for years. He performed an endoscopic procedure to avoid need for surgery that has enabled me to live and eat without fear. He has changed my life

No follow up
Dr Ramage performed a biopsy on me on a Friday afternoon. He told me he was leaving on vacation for a week the next morning and that “no news is good news”. The following Tuesday I saw the report online which concluded I had pancreatic cancer. I did not hear from his office, which was simply a call to schedule a call, for 3 weeks. By the time they called to discuss my diagnosis I had already gone to other doctors who felt it was best to remove the tumor immediately and it had been taken out. With pancreatic cancer, every day matters. His lack of care is unconscionable

Ignored patient – May 11, 2022
×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Ramage Jr?
Dr. Ramage was called in as a consulting gastroenterologist and soon after did a polyp resection that another gastroenterologist was hesitant to do. Dr. Ramage was friendly, extremely knowledgeable, very professional, and explained everything in detail to me. I would recommend him to anyone. He is fantastic.

I was not impressed. Dr. Ramage did not review the lab results provided by my PCP. He did not conduct an exam and just ordered tests. He did ask if I had questions, but didn't provide any meaningful advice. He indicated he would follow up in a month. When scheduling I found that he wouldn't be following up, but was sending me to his PA.

Dr. Ramage performed endoscopic ultrasound/needle biopsy on me on 2/1/2016. By that evening I lost my appetite. Next day no appetite and pain developing. Called office 2/3/16, advised to drink Gatorade. 2/4/16, intensifying pain and fever went to office seen by Dr. Ramage. He took blood, set up CAT scan for next morning & would get back to me. No call from him on 2/5/16. Called office on 2/6/16. Associate read my test result and ordered me to ER. 3 days in hospital. Never heard from Dr. Ramage.
