Dr. Jacob Brayboy, MD

Dr. Brayboy is amazing, he knows how to listen carefully the patient and he is really knowledgeable. Unfortunately he is no longer at Avance Care and they don’t tell me anything about his leave, I would follow him for whatever office or private he works.

Dr. Brayboy was my primary care physician for years. He is the only doctor I can honestly say that I looked forward to visiting. His dedication to his patients, their health, and well being is unmatched in my experience. Specifically, he helped me work through years of chronic back pain. Without him I honestly doubt I'd be the highly functioning member of society that I am today. He's a treasure of a human.If you are fortunate enough to be under his care, count your blessings.

He's just a fantastic doctor. He takes his time, addresses every concern, answers every question. I've never had a doctor a liked more. He's now my son's doctor as well.

I was glad to have been accepted as his patient because I had heard many good things. I had an appointment with him and was able to corroborate every good thing I heard about him. He is kind, caring, patient and he actually takes your opinions into account before prescribing anything. He knows what he is doing really well and implements his knowledge like no other doctor I have seen. He was friendly, made me feel comfortable sharing my thoughts, and he can listen to people forever. His opinions are of the highest value when it comes to my health. I will want to retain him as my PCP for eternity.

Dr. Brayboy is the most gentle and caring doctor I've ever met. His bedside manner is kind and he really cares to help you and refers you to other specialists if he thinks you would be better helped than his level of expertise. He or his nurse get back to my queries on Patient Portal within 24 hours and while he isn't easy to get in on short notice (he's in high demand) you can easily schedule him within 2 weeks but if it's something he knows about, sometimes a message to him will get you the results you need. Fantastic guy, and I've not had any issues at all with seeing anyone else at the practice. I almost don't want to Highly Recommend b/c then you'll take up all his time and leave less for me, haha!

I had my first visit with Dr. Brayboy today. I'm so glad I chose him as he's so caring and knowledgeable. He genuinely cares about his patients and makes you feel so welcome. I highly recommend selecting Dr. Brayboy as your PCP if you're in the triangle area.

Dr. Brayboy is an extremely kind, caring, and reassuring doctor. He doesn't rush you out of the door and is always happy that you came in about something minor than just ignoring it. He has no issue with listening to your concerns and explaining if they're valid and doesn't hesitate to schedule you for a specialist if you feel you need one. There are two negative reviews here; one is seemingly about the practice itself, though it doesn't state which practice it is, and the other has such bad grammar I wonder if it's even a real review?

Dr. Brayboy is one of a kind. He seems genuinely happy to see me and is always eager to help me. I highly recommend.

The nicest human being I've ever met. He is the only GP in Raleigh that truly seems to care about patients, and I've been to about a third of all family physicians in Raleigh. He is extremely through and spends as much time with you as you want, answering every question with a detailed response and appropriate follow up questions. This man is the best family doctor I've ever been to. I'm 29 and have found a family practitioner for life. Got an appointment the same day (within 4 hours). A+ staff
