Dr. Jacqueline Belen, DO

Dr Belen listened to me when no other doctor believed how bad my endometriosis was. She listened with nothing but empathy and concern. She informed me of my options, what to expect, and how to prepare for the hysterectomy. She saw me in pre op and eased all of my fears. She even congratulated me on “surgery day” as she understood it was an end to all of my pain. She took all of my pain away and validated me in hospital recovery just how bad it was. She heard me. My hysterectomy went great and I’m now living without the constant pain of endometriosis.

What a relief it is to have found Dr. Belen. She is at once progressive, extremely down to earth; she explains in a way I can understand perfectly. She is professional and compassionate. She listens. She teaches/explains her reasons for everything she suggests or does and makes sure you understand. I like that she is really up on technological procedures, state of the art, progressive thinker. I like that the office is clean, the staff responsive, kind and knowledgeable. I never have had a very long wait time. I have had her as a surgeon, two times, and it went off without a hitch. I drive 40 minutes to see her, and it's worth it to me to see someone I trust and feel comfortable with.

I’m so happy that I found Doctor Belen a few years ago. She is always attentive, kind, understanding, and empathetic. She is also extremely good with communication. I have messaged her many times through the patient portal and she always responds in a timely manner and always addresses my questions and concerns. It’s so important to trust your providers and I trust Dr Belen.

I was disappointed when my beloved gynecologist retired and was hesitant to start with a new physician. But I love Dr. Belen, too. She is compassionate and reassuring but not patrionizing during my visits. She answers my emails! I highly recommend her.

Dr,Belen is very friendly and gentle. She takes her time and really makes me feel comfortable. I had a Hysterectomy done a couple years ago and I am very happy with the result.
