I was seen as a walk-in due to extreme pain, intolerance to light, redness & constant watering in one eye for a day. I wear contacts but was not asked to remove them. I even asked if I should and was told no. After a brief look, i was diagnosed with wearing contacts too much and advised to use otc rewetting drops. I followed my gut and went to another dr who removed my lenses to reveal a huge corneal ulcer that needed antibiotics and steroids. I could have lost vision and i trusted her diagnosis
