Wonderful surgeon!
My son had umbilical hernia surgery with Doctor Stephenson this summer. She was lovely and very thorough. She was so sweet with him and made him feel at ease. During both prep op and follow up visits, she took the time to explain the surgery in detail, answered all my questions, and eased any concerns. My son made a speedy recovery with minimal discomfort and no complications. He was back to doing kid stuff in no time. Best of all, she left him with an even cuter belly button! If and when the need arises, my family will be loyal patients to her in the future.

Glad to have as my surgeon
I contacted Dr Stephenson’s office when I was having a lot of pain and issues from my gallbladder. She was able to get me in quickly for an initial consultation and answered all my questions. She was able to get me scheduled for surgery very quickly and all went well. At follow up she helped me recognize some ongoing issues, did an EGD and has been very helpful. She’s been very good, has treated me as a patient with respect and kindness. I’m glad we crossed paths.

Thank you
I was referred to Dr. Stephenson by my primary doctor. I was hesitant to see a surgeon. I didn't want to have surgery. I wasn't pleased initially. Dr. Stephenson was late to my appointment. I don't like waiting for doctors. They think they don't have to be respectful of their patients' time. Once I finally met with her Dr. Stephenson explained my problem in detail and patiently answered all of my questions. My frustration about her lateness faded when I realized that she took longer explaining everything to me than my first appointment was scheduled for. Dr. Stephenson recommended surgery. I said no. She gently warned me that she felt it would only be a matter of time before my symptoms worsened but she respected my decision. I reached back out about 6 months later. I had my surgery with Dr. Stephenson and everything went very smoothly. I feel great, and I trust and appreciate Dr. Stephenson very much.

Year long Nightmare........
My year-long journey after Dr. Stephenson care was a harrowing ordeal marked by seeming incompetence and apathy. Despite my excruciating pain, her abysmal bedside manner left me feeling abandoned and unheard. She callously dismissed my suffering, claiming there was nothing more she could do. Follow-up care was nonexistent; it took an agonizing two days for a nurse to even acknowledge my distress. Worse still, Dr. S proceeded with a banding procedure despite being aware of my medical history, leading to further agony. Subsequent specialists confirmed her grave error, revealing the extent of my unnecessary suffering. Even during a post-procedure visit, she failed to recognize obvious symptoms, dismissing my concerns out of hand. Now, as I slowly heal from the aftermath of her negligence, I am left to endure the lingering effects of her incompetence. Dr. S disregard for my well-being has shattered my trust in medical professionals, and I would caution anyone against seeking her care.

A rare and excellent doctor
Dr. Stephenson put me at ease the minute she walked through the exam room door. I saw her for a second opinion for a life threatening problem. Dr. Stephenson listened to my story with compassion. Then she discussed what her treatment plan would be for me. She did not 'beat around the bush'. She gave me honest advice. Her plan matched the plan from the other surgeon, but I decided to have my surgery with Dr. Stephenson because she was trustworthy and I felt safe in her hands. Everything went perfectly. I am so grateful to have found Dr. Stephenson, she is a life saver!

Dr. Jacqueline Stephenson saved my life.
Following complications from an intestinal resection performed by another surgeon, I was septic and within hours of death. Her tenacity, perseverance, care and compassion were instrumental in bringing me back to a path toward full recovery. I will forever be grateful and consider it a tremendous blessing that our paths crossed. She is truly a wonderful soul!
