Worst experiences ever
She is one of the worst physicians I have ever come across. She gave horrible care to my dying mother and insisted on keeping her on a medication that caused anxiety and hyperactivity during her last week of life. I begged her to discontinue the medication that was causing the side effects and to let her be on a medication that would relax her and send her into a peaceful death. She refused to do so. Any physician that does not listen to family members or nurses should not be practicing medicine!

Dr Walker is an excellent physician.
I have read negative reviews on this site and find my experience with Dr Walker is exactly the opposite. Waiting time for scheduled appointments is short. Time with the Doctor is not rushed. All my questions are answered even if I don't like the answer. She is caring. Her referrals have all been great doctors. When I am at an appointment she is aware of the detail in my chart.

Words cannot express my disgust in this woman as a "professional". Please don't waste your time, choose a doctor who cares!

Dr. Walker demonstrates a capricious, uncaring, dismissive attitude. She is not interested to take time to listen and understand health concerns a patient might have, nor investigate possible solutions. Rather Dr. Walker’s response to discomfort, pain and reoccurring issues for me was “Sometimes you just have to live with it:” When asked for a return phone call for further discussion, Dr. Walker left a voice mail indicating that she was too busy to either call me back or have me call her either. My opinion is that is it might be best if you are considering Dr. Walker, to find another doctor who actually might care for you and your health needs.

Because I had a respiratory infection & my regular doctor was on vacation, I saw Dr. Walker instead. During my time with her I also mentioned that I seemed to pick up the infection of the moment on a regular basis. As part of my consultation & exam, she had blood work done & found my level of vitamin D was very low—less than half of what it should be. This effects immunity which is why I seemed to pick up the infection of the day so easily. I was told what type of vitamin D to buy and took them as she directed. I have not had another infection of the day in the many months since the day I saw her. This was never picked up by my regular doctor & I had no idea vitamin D was related to building up my immune system. I’m thrilled with the discovery & I doubt it would have been discovered without Dr. Walker . She has been great—and I am 70 years old & have had many doctors over the years. Very few took the time to listen like Dr. Walker did! An excellent doctor!

I saw doctor walker for a simple surgical clearance. She put down on my medical record that I have a heart murmur when I DON’T! I had to go on a wild goose chase doing different cardio tests that all came back normal and the cardiologist was shocked that I was referred to him and not immediately cleared for surgery. Because of her this process has been very stressful and I didn’t eat cleared until 2 days before the surgery as a result. She is a joke and I will never step foot in her office!
