Dr. Jagat Rawal, MD

The receptionist with the Chinese accent is extremely rude and I am Chinese. Every time she picks up, she's always yelling back and doesn't allow you the chance to ask questions. She interrupts you and has no patience to answer simple questions or she just doesn't understand what you're saying. She has absolutely NO manners and extremely poor phone etiquette. This has occurred on MULTIPLE occasions. The other receptionist are far more understanding and have a lot more patience. Aside from that, both doctor's and all nurses are wonderful, very helpful and informative.

I have been calling for a refill on a medication for the past 3 days and although the receptionist keeps telling me it will be called in, it hasn't so far, and the doctor has not bothered to call me back to explain why. Unprofessional and unethical.

I feel terribly sad to know that Dr. Rawal is no longer a participating provider for Elderplan. For a decade seeing this doctor after the passing of Dr. Agarwal has been heaven sent. The qualities he possess is unsurpassable. He treats his patients like family which makes me comfortable and assured that I am in good hands. He is honest and answers questions and relieved me of anxiety. Not seeing him due to technicalities, I feel like losing a good mentor, best provider and friend.
