I had an inguinal hernia surgery with Dr. Modir in 2012. Shortly after I began to feel severe pain. Long story short (after going to UCSF) I have nerve damage. Either nerves were cut or stapled into the mesh. Dr Modir blew me off. Telling me I had a low pain tolerance and to work out. He was great before surgeon and completely dismissive after. I will have chronic pain for the rest of my life. I was 40 when this all started. UCSF told me he used an old technique. Don't go to him.
