Dr Alfondre has been my go to for over 10years now and will be in the future. Hopefully not too soon though. . The staff at OrthoNy are impeccable and second to none.

Staff was great and during my diagnosis and explaining my problem i didn’t feel rushed or treated like am just another patient who needs to be seen to make up numbers. Also took the time to make sure I understand what the issue was. I would definitely recommend going here

I have been dealing with Dr. Alfandre for the better part of 6 plus years. He has never wanted to push prescriptions or surgery unless it’s absolutely necessary. Couldn’t be more pleased with his bedside manner and personality.

I was very satisfied with Dr. Alfandre. I originally went to another doctor in a different practice and I had a bad experience with an incorrect diagnosis. When I went to Dr. Alfandre it was a complete opposite and a great experience easy to work with easy to talk to and very professional. I’m quite happy. I found Dr. Alfandre.

Went to ORTH0 NY for a ruptured quadricep - by luck of the draw I got Dr Alfandre. He communicated well, explained everything, from initial visit through surgery and up to last week at my one year follow up. I highly recommend him! His Nurse And the Rest if the staff were all very friendly and supportive! If you’re in the unfortunate situation of needing a bone and joint doctor go see Dr Alfandre!

I went there specifically because of bicycle related injuries. I am an advid cyclist. He knew nothing about that all he could do was give me an x-ray , MRI and a steroid shot and zero advice.. If you hurt yourself doing sports don’t go here go someone who knows about sports, and what those injuries will cause us to you.. somehow I left this office with less knowledge then I went in there with. I didn’t think that was possible but go here and you’ll see for yourself.

He’s too quick, makes up his mind before listening. Tried calling secretary 2xs, never called back. Wrong diagnosis, very unhappy, need surgery, not with him !!

He takes time to listen to everything I have to say.

Staff was friendly and efficient Was seen right on time, no waiting. Having had this condition many years ago (laterally) I had some idea what to expect. I'd been doing PT for some time to no avail and felt an injection was necessary at this point, which he did. However I felt rushed and almost like this issue was something very minor to him-although the pain I was feeling was anything but at this point. Another issue on the same arm was totally ignored. All in all, I've had better experiences with orthopedic physicians.

Dr. Alfandre was great from the beginning. I was referred to him by my primary for some pain from a past surgery and he took the time to talk to me and make sure I was comfortable with where my healing was at. He also suggested something that could be done to further alleviate any pain or future troubles. He removed some hardware from my leg and the entire experience was one of the best I have had (and I have had multiple surgeries). Dr. Alfandre and his team were all comforting to work with and if I ever need anymore surgery or support I will be back to see them.

He was great! I came with a sports-related injury. He was patient and honest, and gave me next steps. I was super impressed by efficiency. My appointment was for 10:20; I saw him at 10:20. It was my first visit and it was a great experience.

I am almost 70 and went for a torn meniscus, my first. He was rushed from the start, as if running late, with both feet out the door as I was still asking a Q. I felt he was exasperated with my Qs, but did answer them all. Altho many very quickly & generally, with little detail, or even a bit condescendingly. Little advice or info was provided of his own initiative, only in response to Qs. He left me confused about next steps and became abrupt when I tried to clarify. More than once, he talked over me when I was asking Q or providing info. While the outcome was encouraging, based on Qs I asked, appt itself was frustrating, discouraging, sometimes unclear, and uncomfortable for me. I am hoping my experience was an aberration, but I would not return.

I had a great experience with Dr. Alfandre and his staff. He is very knowledgeable and explained everything in detail. I did not feel rushed or stressed during appointments. His personality is pleasing and warm. I ended up having shoulder surgery and had no problems. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Alfandre to family and friends!

Dr. Alfondre conveyed to me my shoulder damage and repair process in a very easy to understand and matter of fact way. His explanation of the surgery and recovery was spot on, and left me feeling confident in him and his team.

I recently visited Dr. Alfandre for a torn meniscus, and instead of making the most profitable recommendation, he gave me the same advice that he would have given a family member. Would highly recommend, and I plan to stick with Dr. Alfandre for all future needs.
