Can’t say enough good things
Dr. Armstrong is very attentive and thorough with his patients. The office staff are also great. I’ve never felt “lost in the system” and my needs are always cared for. Dr. Armstrong is my MS specialist and have many repeat visits and I always feel listened to and my condition is treated properly. I highly recommend having him as your specialist.

Saw him once. He ordered nerve conduction study and muscular study. I have Memorial Hermann Nedicare Advantage. Linda his office manager wanted me to sign a document saying I would pay $771 for those tests if Medicare would not pay. They won't. I don't have straight Medicare. She Also knows on a recorded line from Memorial Hernann Medicare Advantage my copay for that test is $25 and $15 for doctor. She refuses to let me see the doctor. Messages may not get thru to him? She refuses to tell me whether she is in the medical field where she can give me 8-10 blood work results. The doctor has ordered MRI of head abd had flu have not done. She wrote me a letter to find another doctor and I should as my needs may be .... do not use this office.

I saw him, and I took his tests. But the ONE time I saw him left enough of a bad taste in my mouth that i decided i would rather continue passing out randomly for another few weeks to get in with another neurologist than go back and be subjected to him again. My daughter is on the spectrum, and he was kind of judgemental considering you would think he would understand that shes not misbehaving, she's stimming, and she can't help it. Made us feel like he looked down on us. Like i said, id rather just pass out for a little longer, as long as ive waited im not sure going to this man is improving my situation anyway.

I'm conflicted
So, I DO believe that he knows what he's talking about and the field of neurology. BUT. He IS very condescending, very rude, and if i didn't need his help and there was another neurologist within 50 miles of me that took my insurance, I wouldn't see him again. He believes that he is smarter than you and makes sure you know it. He spoke to us as if our questions were stupid and we should already know this stuff, but if we did we wouldn't need him. Ive never met such an arrogant doctor. I have several disorders and it takes me a second to understand things and to communicate back, and I definitely don't need someone to treat me like im stupid because of it. The reviews are right: very knowledgeable, very rude.

Extremely dismissive
Seeing the previous reviews helps me to realize that I didn’t imagine my experience with this physician. The positive - he is polite and so is his staff. The constructive - I don’t expect every doctor to hold my hand throughout my care, but I do expect to be taken seriously when I come seeking medical attention for pervasive issues that could very well be life threatening. As soon as I shared what brought me there, he was immediately dismissive, telling me that it was probably nothing, although three of my other physicians recommended that I see a neurologist for what I’ve been suffering through for far too long. While I certainly don’t want to be ill, I also want to be safe rather than sorry if there is something wrong, which he acknowledged could be possible, but shooed me out of the office saying it’s probably not. Haven’t had an appointment like that ever before.

my experience with dr. Armstrong and his staff has been very rewarding. I have had many wonderful doctors over the last 73 years but I actually think and believe that dr. Armstrong has been the most beneficial as a physician for me. I think he is a brilliant diagnostician. I would recommend him without reservation to anyone needing help with any of the many ailments and conditions that he treats.

Dr. armstong was dismissive. I needed treatment for Guillian Barre Syndrome immediately and he sent me home and told me to go shopping. 2 other neurologists had me hospitalized immediately after Dr. Armstrong sent me home. he cost me 2. important days to get the treatment. no stars

This Dr was called in by another physician to check my mother..I knew she was dying..Dr. Armstrong was so inconsiderate. No bedside manner. I just asked him to be upfront about my mother..he made a remark. I asked my uncle to talk to him after that..he is a Dr. He spoke nicely to him. Dr. Armstrong just seemed we were wasting his time..I will never forget that feeling of having a Dr look down on you.

Worst Dr I have ever seen. He was extremely rude to me and then told me I was fired and to leave and never come back. I don't work for him so don't know how I could get fired. He seemed really messed up in some way. I didn't understand him at all. He seems very disoriented . Very weird experience .
