It's been almost 1 year since my hernia surgery. The days after surgery were stressful, but Dr. Bonheur was great at explaining what was happening, encouraging recovery and reassuring me. I only wish I was able to talk him sooner at some points. Staff was always helpful. Much to my surprise, I can still wear a bikini as my "scars" are barely noticeable (look more like a freckles than scars).

Dr. Bonheur did hernia repair on my 82 year old brother. He is a great surgeon with good bedside manner and would highly recommend him. His staff is very competent and caring.

For over 5 years I visited most plastic & general surgeons in the area. After having baby number 3, I had two hernias (ventral and umbilical) that was very bulgy and visible Dr. Bonheur was wonderful and amazing to me last Summer 2017!! Not only he is the best surgeon in the area, I recommend him 110% The surgery was a HUGE success! I did NOT have to get a tummy tuck like many other surgeons have told me. The scars are extra minimal about 2-3mm, and I have my flat abs again:-) Love, love him!!!

Was not happy with bedside banner. Does not listen or seem to care. Called a few times asking for a call back and he never has. Does not explain things and just quickly breezes through things like they are no big deal. Any surgery is a big deal and should be treated as such.

Awful experience with the staff. No knowledge or concern for the patient and i was constantly repeating the same thing over and over again. No personal touch at all.

Great experience with Dr. Bonheur and his AMI Surgery team. It was a laproscopic procedure for hernia repair. Everything went very well. No pain. His team is very professional and very patient-focused. Great communication with patient. Recommend Dr. Bonheur and his team highly.
