Expect no empathy around your mental health issues
In April I lost my job, my grandma passed away, and an immediate family member was diagnosed with breast cancer. I didn’t handle it well and accidentally missed two appointments, as a result I received a letter I was no longer welcome to see Dr Bright. I tried to pay for the missed appointments and explain the situation but zero leniency was given. For being a mental health provider, there is very little understanding given to mental health issues.

En garde!
Dr Bright employs an intuitive approach. Be as nonreactive as you can be. Old school wisdom. Remember those great teachers you had in high school? The ones you might have misunderstood at the time, but whose words have resonated throughout the years. Struck me as that type of man.

Great Listener
He takes time to listen to your concerns and then sees how he can rectify the concern. I have a tricky diagnosis and he has helped me immensely. Changing one strength or pill may upset another condition. It may take a while, but I think he is worth it.

I have been seeing Dr Bright for around 7 years and he has never truly been interested in my mental health. When I had my first actual crisis this past week, he has done nothing for me to help. I knew I should have changed doctors years ago, but stayed because change is hard when you have anxiety and adhd. I hope someone sees this and doesn’t make my mistake.

I wouldn't even give this "doctor" one star. Didn't look at patient, only at his laptop while asking questions and taking notes - VERY IMPERSONAL!!!! I wouldn't send my worst enemy there. He shouldn't be practicing medicine here or anywhere. Assumed thoughts of patient and judged.

I have been seeing Dr. Bright for over a year & each appointment has been pleasant. He doesn't rush me through our appointments & always takes the time to listen to me & how I'm feeling. I feel Dr. Bright truly cares about me as a patient. Also, for the first 10 months I was seeing him I didn't have insurance, & had to pay completely out of pocket The first appointment, I believe was $500, & they were nice enough to let me put only $50 down & make payments. He has helped me in every way he can.
