I will never recommend this man to anyone. He is rude and heartless. He treats the people that agrees to have surgery done by him like trash.

Very uncaring doctor, fork Sanders Hospital 6 RN's personality said that J. McDonald Burkhart should of retried 25 years ago. He will promise no pain during surgery and claimed you will not suffer in the 3 days in stay hospital, and after you go home you will not have to suffer after 5 days. Incompetent and a lier. After 3 week's pain extremely severe. And 2nd.visit he spent 20 seconds with me , no after care plan and only 7 days of low dose pain meds. I WOULD never recommend him as a bone dr

Dr Burkhart performed my shoulder surgery 2 years ago and he did such a wonderful job that he is now who I take my children to. I won't take them to anyone else. Dr is very quiet but very, very nice and, most importantly, he is an EXCELLENT surgeon! He knows his stuff and his staff is AWESOME! He's very busy (which is a really good sign) but they are very prompt and very thorough. VERY highly recommended!!!!
