Great Doctor
Dr. Clancy is a magnificent doctor. He truly listens to the patient. I moved about an hour away and I still drive across town to go to his office. I read some reviews that have complaints. All I can say is that in any office there is bound to be an incident. This is not the norm. My husband and I have been going there for over seven years and are very happy.

Mr. Gershon (Gordon) Wolf
I have been a patient of Dr. Clancy for over 10 years. He is the first PCP I've had who spends whatever time is necessary with me to hear out and try to solve my problems. He is professional, friendly, and just a great doc! I can't understand how anyone could think otherwise. 5 stars all the way! ~ Gershon (Gordon) Wolf, Chicago, IL

I found Dr. Clancy & the nurse to be condescending & a bit rude. They just assumed I was there for meds when I was there to talk about better options. Talked down to me like I was a child. Will not return or recommend.

I don't know how his office isn't inundated in patients...his staff is efficient and accessible, the Nurse has a great system for getting my info and stats together so that he can spend his time with me getting right to any problems (and at 70 years old I have more than a few)...Clancy himself is thorough, thoughtful and willing to go at a problem from various angles...I'm with them 'til the wheels come off...

I was double billed during a visit to this office for my annual physical. Dr. Clancy asked me questions about my health during the visit, and apparently one of my answers triggered some sort of care that wasn’t part of the physical so I was charged for another visit. Of course, no mention was made of this until the bill arrived. I obviously would never recommend for anyone to choose this Primary Care Physician if you want professional and fair service.

His office is creepy, with heavy security, and he orders unnecessary testing. I have been informed that he does not use the phone (he doesn't do email either). This guy is just out to make a buck. Doesn't care about his patients.

Friendly, engaging, patient, funny, personable: these are all wonderful adjectives to describe a friend. But what truly sets Dr. James Clancy apart is that he is all of the above along with all of the very important things you need out of a doctor. He is knowledgeable, trustworthy, and informed. You are comfortable in his presence, and that is of the utmost importance to ensure you are open and honest about your most personal matters. Only downside: long wait to schedule appointments.
