Practice Closed
Scheduled an appointment for a colonoscopy. Later found out that the practice is closed, and no one bothered to inform me.

Poorly Managed Office
I've never encountered a more poorly managed office. Over 2 months called three times to schedule appointment for colonoscopy. Didn't get a return call until 3 months later at which point I was told that I was outside the 90 day window to have the procedure done since meeting with my Primary Care Physician. This forced me to have yet another appointment with my PCP to obtain the script.

Needs more staff!
Scheduling an appointment proved impossible this time. Dr. Corkum needs to hire more staff to make getting an appointment easier. I've had good experiences with Dr. Corkum in the past so I was disappointed that I ultimately needed to move on (after about a month of trying) and find a doctor who had enough staff to schedule me easily for a colonoscopy. Awful experience.

He is unprofessional and rude. He canceled my husband’s ablation one hour before we were to leave. He never read the report until then and blamed it on his office. It took 3 months to get an ablation procedure and one hour before tells he can’t do that and needs an EMR before that procedure He never came to talk to me or my husband after his endoscopy. He sent us home with a detailed paper with medical terminology. Never explained or called. My husband wound up in the ER with pain. He never called Do NOT go to this doctor!!!! Switched to Josh Forman who is fabulous!! Complete opposite.

Not worth it
Not worth the co-pay. The doc never calls you himself, always someone from the office. They call and promise they will do something and then you don’t hear from them for weeks. In fact I had to initiate the contact.

Ghosting me
Not sure what is going on but I have left at least 4 messages to request an appointment to no avail and no call back. I have left all requested info each time. I am a patient already. Very disappointed.

Treats you like a "Boat or car Payment" Went for a colonoscopy and here is my entire interaction with him. Pre-Op:: When was your last Colonoscopy? Post-OP: Everything looks good. This was said while he was walking by me in the recovery area on his way to his next procedure. He couldn't even stop for 30 seconds to go over his findings. And there were some findings. It's been a month and I'm still waiting to hear from him about what he found. He also never sent the report to my GP.

I found Dr. Corkum to be the rudest doctor I have ever had the misfortune to see. His arrogance and dismissive attitude was unlike anything I have experienced from any physician I have seen. I went to him due to recommendations from others in the past. Some people change and I guess he is one of them. He needs to get off his high horse and realize the patient is the consumer and he is the product.

Will never go there again. I was required to arrive for a scheduled colonoscopy with a check for about $ 530.00. After the insurance statements started rolling in, I realized I had overpaid by about $380.00. I had to pry out of his office an admission that yes, they did owe a refund, would be 6-8 weeks for refund.! Why so long, no good answer, " the system". Almost end of May now,no refund yet!
