Following my cataract surgery with Dr Davies I find out that wrong lens used as an implant I started with rainy flutters and vision problems right the day after surgery, fist he blamed my vision issue to dryness but it took him 3 months to realize about his mistake and offered me replace the lens but he did not know what type of lens to use, he ask me to fly to Arizona consult one his colleagues to find out about new lens, nevertheless I am San resident close to the well known eye centers (Shirley Eye Institute) at UC and Scripps. I lost my total confidence decided to consult other doctors at UC Shiley Eye sure enough 3 doctors told me not to go through any operation due to risk of cornia transplants. Dr Davies was aware of my previous RK and he assured me that LAL lens was the best option lens as a result of his mistake I became legally blind at night and my vision is blurry, foggy and doubled. This expensiveLAL lens is not covered by insurance and is not for everyone.

The front office staff was kind enough to get my daughter in for an emergency appointment, which I greatly appreciated and expressed my gratitude. Unfortunately the doctors bed side manner could use some work. For a child to have an in office procedure for expression and drainage, it is normal that the child would be uncomfortable. But for a physician to give up on the child so rudely and say that she was not cooperating is untrue. She was fully cooperative. Please work on your bedside manner!

Dr. Davies has been an amazing Godsend to us. He first treated my husband almost 20 years ago when a cancer was found on his eye. Thanks to the surgery and great follow-up, it has never returned. Our daughter had very poor vision and Dr. Davies monitored her until the technology and her eyes were both ready. I will never forget her first experience at seeing stars after her surgery! In the last few years, he has also done cataract surgery on my husband and I with great results.

I had cataract surgery approximately two years ago with Dr. Davies. I found him to be an excellent doctor for what I needed. He does the surgery in his office. One eye first, few days later, the other. He's a nice man with a quiet disposition and will answer any questions you have, just ask. My surgery was a complete success and I could finally see without glasses. First time in my life, He does lazer surgery too. No more floaters. Highly recommend from me.
