I have never had such a poor medical experience in my life. Dr. Ehlich was dismissive and invalidated my very visible, documented joint pain. He even told me he did not (and does not) review the notes my previous providers faxed over regarding my care so far. He noted some of my joints were abnormal but seemed unconcerned because I was "not as bad" as his RA patients. He spent more time talking about the opioid epidemic (I have never taken nor did I ask for any) than he did examing me. He gave me a diagnosis for a condition that he won't treat (fibro) and after researching this condition my symptoms do not align with it. I should've listened to the reviews I read before going but I wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt.... take my advice: Find someone else!

I was referred to this Doctor by my Primary Care Nurse Practitioner. I'm glad I came here before making an appointment. Based on his reviews, He's not someone I would want to be one of my doctors. I researched and did my homework and found a doctor at IU HOSPITAL that specializes in my disease. I can't get an appointment until May 2020 but I'm willing to do whatever it takes to to wait for the BEST!!!

Very rude and uncaring. If you don't want to take Methotrexate, he will dismiss you as a patient. You only have 10 minutes to discuss your concerns before he leaves to see the next patient. One star is too much of a rating for this doctor.

Worst doctor ever. I saw him for 6 years and when I filed for disability, he sent a total of 9 pages of medical records. I was denied due to insufficient medical evidence. Worse than that, my mother was his patient for 8-10 years. She kept getting sicker and sicker, and he kept telling her it was pneumonia or her RA. Finally, during a hospital stay in 2006, his partner at the time (Dr. Kneuks?), looked at her x-rays - and delivered devastating news. My mother had advanced familial pulmonary fibrosis. He said it was evident in past x-rays as well and he didn't understand how Dr. Ehlich missed it. My mother died 4 years later from this disease. Dr. Ehlich was all about 'in and out' and prescribing unnecessary drugs, imo. I'm surprised he's still practicing.

I've had and still do have excellent doctors that listen to you, care about what you think and feel. And, always take that into account along with blood work, tests) x-rays, scans, etc. before working with you (the patient) in determining next steps. This doctor is by far the worst experience I've had in a long time. Very dismissive, talks using lots of medical terminology I have no clue what is being said, and not once acknowledge any thoughts or ideas I might have. The best doctors are the ones who works with the patient, follows up with them, and builds a relationship. This doctor failed that all of that miserably.

He never reviews my chart to see what we discussed at the last visit. So I spend my precious 10 minutes, that I am allotted, bringing him up to speed. He does not address any of my complaints. He can't remember from one second to the next what was just decided regarding meds. He doesn't listen, not empathetic, basically acts like he doesn't care. He can't relate to the condition and the pain and limitations it causes. I do NOT recommend this doctor. Acts like he is sleep deprived.

I have been ill and have had abnormal lab results for many months. My primary care doctor referred me to Dr. Ehlich suspecting some kind of autoimmune disorder. Dr. Ehlich spent a lot of time explaining why I shouldn’t be complaining. His other patients would be delighted to be in the shape I am in. Dr. Ehlich diagnosed fibromyalgia. Dr. Ehlich educated me on the history of fibromyalgia and informed me that he does not treat fibromyalgia. I was basically dismissed.

I'm not one to leave reviews on things/people, but I wanted to warn you, he can be very mean. I have Ehlers Danlos Syndrome and his first words to me were "why are you even here?" My primary referred me to him. My primary felt strongly I needed a Rheumatologist in my medical team, so I went. He was honestly zero help. He told me I needed to "get on with my life" even though my EDS impacts my daily life. I didn't feel compassion or care from him at all. His nurse was kind, but he is not.

Professional, proficient and pleasant. He's a great listener and takes notes instead of staring at a computer screen. He has a relaxed way about him. He's understanding and compassionate. There is a true desire on his part to help you. Whether that comes in the form of attempting to overcome an issue, learn to life with a condition and/or help relieve your pain. One of the best physicians I've encountered.

I am a relatively new patient of Dr. Ehlich. When Dr. Stack had to retire I transferred over. He was very nice and listened quietly as I answered his questions and took notes. I think we will get along well. This is a team effort after all so it's important that we have open honest communication. There is an ease to his demeanor.

Rude and incompetent staff. Indifferent and rushed doctor. Was prescribed a medication and the dosage was printed in error. Upon calling Dr. Ehlich and speaking to his clinical assistant (Terri) to correct their mistake I was greeted with hostile defensiveness and was told they do not prescribe that medication. She also said that she did not like to be accused. All I was trying to do was to get the correct script in the hands of my pharmacy because they would not fill it until then. Pathetic!
