He took over the care of my mom. He admitted her to hospice with a 1 month diagnosis of COPD, not on O2. It only took 5 months of removing her meds, decreasing her pain medication 50% (previously established by an anesthesiologist pain specialist), refusing to treat her UTI that was apparent with clumps of white cells within a couple of days of catheterization, and totally ignoring my mom & her desire to not be on end of life care but rather to have PT at home or go to Lakeshore as recommended by the hospitalist. I would never, ever turn him loose with another elderly patient. He doesn’t even read the medical record that he can access online before miserably failing at caring for the patient.

My Husband and I have been patients of Dr. Frey for many years and will continue to be as long as possible. He is very personal and always takes care of our medical problems, and spends as much time with you to discuss issues and wellness. His Staff is also exceptional and respond to all calls and appointment requests. He was also very attentive during a hospital stay , kept close eye on everything that was going on with my health. He refers us to specialists and any other additional testing in a very timely manner. Best Doc around.

Not only is Dr. Frey caring and concerned about your problem, he is great helping you understand your problem and advising about your health and care. I recently had a problem that required a specialist. Dr. Frey recommended a specialist that could diagnose and treat my problem. He sent a referral to this doctor and his staff scheduled the appointment on my behalf. Still Dr. Frey kept watch over my health.

Dr. Frey has been my family’s primary care physician since he began practicing medicine and we have never considered making a change. If you are looking for a physician to treat you as a person, rather than a number Dr. Frey is who you’ve been looking for. He is patient, thorough and kind. His office is prompt to return calls with answers. He also involves the patient in the wellness process; diligently explaining lab results, options and time frames. I've been with Dr. Frey since 1999, even before there was MDVIP. I have always had my concerns cared for within a few hours. He is easy to talk to and I can't imagine having another primary physician. I actually did try it when he moved his office, but wasn't but a few months till I was ready to come back! Dr Frey is the most knowledgeable and caring primary care physician I have ever been to. He listens to your problems and works with you to help make things better. He also makes himself available and is quick to answer texts, call you back and makes himself available any time. He also is just a good guy and you can tell he really cares about our well being
