Seemed confident at first, but left me a mess.
Poor communication. Little empathy. Didn't give enough post-op instructions nor medications to be able to properly care for yourself, and then difficult to contact anyone in any sort of timely manner. Will be finding a different CRS for future care and to try and fix the mess that he left me with.

Painful Outpatient Surgery
Dr. Hibbert has done major surgery on me previously and overall I think it accomplished it's goal. He also did a colonoscopy. I recently had out-patient surgery in his office. During the surgery I felt some pain. Dr. Hibbert then gave me a local shot, without first telling me, while in the process of suturing me up. It was extremely painful so he then decided not to finish the suture and leave it to heal on it's own. I now have discomfort, some pain and bleeding so am going to another doctor to see if this can be fixed. I also felt that there were some instances, including this one, where the doctor didn't seem to have appropriate sensitivity or empathy based on some of his comments and his lack of understanding the pain inflicted without the proper amount of medication. I will not return.

He roll played how I would tell my large family that their dad/grandpa/great grandpa had cancer. He helped me compile a list of questions to ask doctors and hospitals what I needed to know when evaluating the effectiveness of their medical care. He did a colon resection to remove my colon cancer that was extremely well done. My recovery was quick and total. I would recommend Dr. Hibbert and his staff to anyone. The skill and humanity of his practice is priceless when you need it most. 5 stars!
