I went to Dr Kirk for a routine inconvenience procedure. I came out of the surgery not being able to pee for 3-4 months ( had to self cath). I had to see him the entire time this was going on, I waited an average of 5 hours to see him each time. The last time I was there I waited 6 hours and finally left , while waiting for him that time I could hear him flirting with the woman in the next room for at least 30 minutes. Infuriating!! He is arrogant, rude and doesn’t seem to care about his patients! Not to mention, the surgery went terribly bad. That was about 12 years ago and I still am having some issues from that surgery! Wouldn’t recommend him to my worst enemy! P.s. I have never written a bad review about a doctor before but I want to warn others!!

I made an appointment weeks ahead of time to take my 94 year old mother to see Dr. Kirk. I live in the Dallas area and made the trip to Lubbock to take her to the doctor. When we went to the desk to check in we were told that we "had" an appointment but Dr. Kirk was not in the office this week. I guess that after the appointment was made Dr. Kirk decided to take vacation or leave town.. We did not receive a phone call or any notification. Bad office management! Bad 6 hour drive!
