Dr. James Louthan, MD

I hesitated to get a primary physician after my husband (who has diabetes) had a very bad experience with a physician, when we first moved here in 2018. She was a new doctor and the only one available for new patients. Anyway, I needed a physician after being here 5 years and Dr. Louthan was highly recommended in the area. I waited for some time before he accepted me as a patient and it was worth the wait. He is totally unhurried and takes time to answer one's concerns. When my husband had an emergency, resulting from improper care I suggested to Dr. Louthan that I'd like him to see him. He agreed and my husband has been seeing him on a regular basis for the past year and is very happy with his care. We hope Dr. Louthan remains in the medical field for as long as we live. Thank you Dr. Louthan.

Dr. Louthan gave very thorough explanations to answer our every question. He appears compassionate, unhurried and very knowledgeable. This visit put our minds at ease which is another key to healing. We are pleased with him and his staff.

My husband & I trust Dr. Louthan and have every reason to do so. In addition, our experiences have been just as those here who have have left such positive reviews. My husband had had a bit of a mystery health disorder, and in fact he was headed toward death. Dr. Louthan didn't stop digging until he had identified the surprising problem. I thank Dr. Louthan from the bottom of my heart, as I have my dear husband with me today, and he's doing beautifully.

Dr. Louthan and his staff are absolutely wonderful! I have been a patient there for many years and have recommended him to my family and friends! So few Doc’s take time with their patients these days but he really listens and takes his time!

He is a very thorough physician, and takes extra time to explain as needed. He always asks before leaving the room, if there is anything else he can you with . I have been a patient of his since 2010. I was referred to him by my brother who has been his patient for a long time. I would recommend him to any of my older friends who are looking for a doctor that takes care of seniors.
