Dismissive, poor bedside manner
For context, this is the first time I’ve ever felt the need to leave a negative review about a healthcare professional. I had a very disappointing experience with this doctor. I’m extremely time-conscious when it comes to appointments and always make an effort to clearly and efficiently lay out my concerns so they can be addressed as easily as possible. Despite that, I felt like I was being outright ignored. The doctor didn’t acknowledge some of the issues I brought up, and I left feeling like concerns were dismissed. At one point, he completely made up an answer to one of my concerns. It’s 100% fine to not know the answer to something—but he could’ve at least pretended to care or done a quick look-up on his computer. They were significantly late for the appointment, which, while not ideal, would have been understandable if the care had been thorough. Instead, it felt like they were rushing to get through the visit as quickly as possible.
