Dr. James McKendree Jr, MD

Dr. McKendree never met with me personally. Although I made several attempts to speak with him, I only spoke with, and saw his PA. I was experiencing a very serious health issue. He and his PA simply kept referring me to other specialists, ignoring my pleas for help. If you have a serious health condition, I would tell you to please not count on Dr. McKendree to be of service to you. My condition worsened to a point where I had no option but to find another physician, not a specialist, just a darn good doctor, who was able to treat my problem with genuine care and concern. I have never been treated with such a lack of human decency as Dr. McKendree displayed. Although he failed by all accounts to offer adequate care in my circumstance, if he became ill, I would still wish him a better doctor than he was to me.

I have been a patient of Dr. Mckendree for many years. I have full trust in his abilities and skills. My entire family goes to him and is very happy with his services.I'm mainly writing to question the review of misdiagnosis and poor service. In Feb. of 19,Dr. McKendree was long gone from this practice. The review sounds much more of a review of the owner of this practice Dr. Kastellic. If this is the doctor he was referring to, I have to totally agree. If anyone out there is interested in going back to Dr. Mckndree,he has joined a new practice called Prime Care Providers at 1034 Menoher Blvd. phone 814-254-4885. I and my family are going back to someone I can trust -

I love Dr McKendree. I wish he didn’t leave Kastelic & Assoc but he did. Now I have to get a new PCP because the doc they put me with is arrogant and rude. Dr McKendree is caring and he listens to you and spends time with you. I never felt rushed and he always answered my questions. I hope he starts his own practice or goes in with other physicians so I can go back to having him as my PCP.

Total misdiagnosis. Poor follow up. Attempted to send patient to an incorrect specialist. Rushed patient. Too many complaints to be typed. Experience was just a waste of time. Another physician at another office correctly diagnosed issue, and patient is now doing better. Had to have appointments rescheduled several times due to his not being in the office. Poor listening skills.
