I have been with Dr. Otting since 2019 & was the best doctor I have had in a long time. He is Professional & caring. The staff said that he "cleaned out his office over the weekend & left no forwarding address". That he was gone & now the 2 other doctors who saw me, had the worst bedside manners. All they care about is removing all medications & watching my quality of life disappear. They don't care about my pain. Dr. Otting, where are you? Please let us know if you're practicing someplace else; I will follow you to another city. You helped me have better quality of life, now I have none of that. Now I am treated like a drug addict by them even though I have never failed a drug test. It's just not fair. Please, if anyone needs to know you are safe, it's your patients who care about you.

Where did you go Dr. Otting?
Dr. Otting has been my pain management doctor for over 10 years. I just tried to call and make an appointment with him and discovered he left CCPM about a month ago. Where did you go, Dr. Otting?

the dr is great but his staff is horrible! the office on monroe had better staff, this office on coy has the nastiest, rudest personnel ever & it's not necessary to talk to/treat persons like they do. starting at the front desk. i watched the lady with the half shaved hair talk to FOUR patients signing in like they were less than human, rolling her eyes and frowning. it was 9am, how are you mad at the world? it's awful how far behind they are with getting meds faxed to pharmacies, weeks behind & patients are suffering & they do not seem to care!

While Dr Otting is a capably skilled at what he does the office scheduling and patient wait times are atrocious. You sit and wait up to an hour to be called to an exam room and wait another hour plus in a closed and uncomfortable room. Very poor operating system for getting patients efficiently through their appointments

I have been a patient of Dr. Otting’s for over 11 years. Hands down, by far he’s the VERY BEST Dr. EVER! I’ve followed Dr. Otting from office to office. I told him many years ago, after he figured out my back issues …. that I’d follow him to he ends of the earth.. and I truly would, actually I do! Unfortunately, my husbands job required us to relocate from the Toledo area to New York State. I make that 10.5 hour drive every three months just to see Dr. Otting. I’ve never met a Dr like him. He truly listens, he’s very informative, compassionate and he truly cares about my well being and it shows! He has always rolled out the red carpet for me and he makes me feel like a real VIP. I couldn’t ask for a better patient / doctor relationship. His front desk receptionist Betsy has also been with him for years. She’s an absolute sweetheart who is not only professional, kind and compassionate, she’s the VERY BEST at what she does, there’s truly no other! #teamotting #teambetsy #thebest

Dr Otting genuinely cares about each patient. He consistently looks for resources and provides me with ways they can help my back pain. I trust him completely and would not want anyone else to give me shots in my back. I may experience a wait on appointment days, but I know I will receive the time needed to enhance my life as a mother, grandmother, friend, and daughter. Thank you Dr Otting for caring.

Wait time is very long for no more than a 6 minute visit. Can never get a call back from the office for serious issues. The staff are not personable at all and very rude, lazy and unprofessional. Whenever you call to check on prior authorizations that were supposed to be sent they act like you are bothering them and blame the insurance company for denials but in reality they don't do their job and send over necessary documentation that the insurance requests. The head PR rep from my insurance personally called me herself to tell me that the Doctor's wanted to approve my steroid injection but could not because Otting's staff repeatedly did not send in what they asked for when they assured me that they did. I ended up needing emergency pain relief and had to get it from the emergency room because when I called the office to see the Doctor I was told by Kelly they can't do anything and to take a hot shower. The ER advised me to find another Doctor and office for the sake of my health.

I love Dr. Otting. I find him to be a caring doctor that actually listens to what I have to say. When explaining things he does it in a clear manner without 'talking down' to me. He gives a fantastic injection. Does he have rules? Sure, who doesn't. As long as you stick to them, it's fine.

If you do not stick to his rules he will begin to intimidate you my experience was of slight bad news . He at one time during a visit I told him I took care of a funeral and he assumed in his words " let me guess they died of herion over dose". No compassion before I could say it was due to a fatal car accident. And one other time he told me if I didn't quit smoking he would drop me as a patient, that didn't bother me so I quit. Many times he had others helping him which was bad.
