Dr. James Prine, MD

Dr. Prine is very thorough and concerned about his patients' wellbeing, he's on top of all test results and calls you personally to discuss any issue. During consultation he doesn't talk much but he is paying close attention to what you're saying and reviews your test results exhaustively. I've rarely been under the care of a doctor who calls patients directly as Dr. Prine does, not through staff, it's him himself when you answer the phone. There are some disparaging reviews about the staff but so far I have not encountered any problems in that regard.

I have been going to Dr. Pine for many years and I cannot say enough about how much he cares for his patients! I have called him at night, on weekends, on holidays, etc. etc. he ALWAYS returned my calls in a short time. In this day and time there is no doctor that I know who does this. When a patient is upset and has questions, they need their doctor to be there to answer their questions and he has always been there for me. Thank you so much Dr Prine. Regarding the staff: Sometimes can not be helpful and hard to reach them.

2 Times they made me miss a surgery due to their incompetence with paper work for pre surgery. Missed surgery date 2 times becuase of them. Last visit was an appointment and after waiting 3 momths to be seen , they claimed I didnt have an appointment. That was the last straw. Good doctor. He really is. But his office staff is dangerously incompetent and lazy. People can die when paperwork and follow up is not properly done

Unbelievable! Office has 2 people working who don't care about answering the phones and Dr. Prine - who I just spoke with - flat out told me he has no time to contact my insurance company and explain to them why I need my medication! So much for caring about your patients!!

Up date: I did not say he wasn't a good doctor. He is very thorough and I continue to use him as my primary doctor. Recently, he claims that I abandoned him as my doctor. But after his call to stop a medication and his door suddenly closed up (Covid). Who was supposed to call who? In an entire year. My other doctors contact me when it's time for a follow up.

EXCELLENT! Dr. Prine is very thorough, he doesn't miss a thing. He even calls you directly if there is something to discuss.

Dr Prine is the best doctor l have ever had considering l have Been living in this area 30 years. He’s a perfect 5 on the scale. Highly recommend him as my experience was beyond belief. A gift from heaven. Thank you Dr Prine.

My husband and I have been going to Dr. Prine since 1993. I have recommend him to friends and family. He is caring, and really proved that to me when my brother which is a patient of his was admitted to the Hospital . Dr. Prine has called my house three times in one week to find out his status. I guess that's why I've been going to him since 1993.

Dr. Prine is an excellent physician with caring and effective bedside manner. I hope that he continues to practice for many year so that I can continue to benefit from his care.

Highly recommend. He has always been there for me I am a patient for many years and would not change.

Dr. Prine is an excellent physician. We go to him for many years. We changes our insurance coverage to make sure that we can still have him. He is very caring. He would call in the middle of the night to make sure that everything is fine. We wouldn't change him for anybody.

Dr. Prine is an excellent physician. It is very good that he does referrals, in order that you get the best possible care available for your specific medical problem. I will give him 5 stars, but the office personnel is lacking in many respects - non-friendly in most cases, has problems when taking medication refills (does not know the medications or just doesn't take the time to follow through with the request) as I have a problem getting all of my refills that I requested and on going prob

Not very happy with this doctor. My husband was diagnosed with the flu and i am sick now. Tried to make an appointment to get tamiflu meds and he hasn’t called me back his nurse said he cant see me today and the meds are best if taken with in 72 hours of contracting the illness.

Absolutely the best doc in a long time for me. His patient 10years +. I refer my friends to Dr Prine. Hes that good younger and older alike.

A good doctor but too many unneeded referrals to specialists.

Dr. Prine unlike other doctors, will actually listen to your issues and do his best to help you as fast as possible. His staff are all respectful and kind and especially if you need a refill request, they call it in to the pharmacy very quickly. When you are sick, they somehow always find a way to get you in.
