Dr. James Pulvino, MD

He listened to me and believed me that another doctor messed up. He was able to repair and was always there if I needed anything. I am very impressed with his bedside manner! I am so happy he came into my life. It is amazing how he answers all my questions and said we got this!! Awesome respectful and professional.

I’ve seen many physicians in my life and Dr Pulvino is one the nicest doctors I’ve ever met. He’s very thorough with his visits and has never once made me feel rushed. I had the pleasure of working with him at Riverside Methodist Hospital years ago and saw how amazing he was at caring for his patients. When I was in need of services for urinary issues (Interstitial Cystitis), I did not hesitate to choose him as my physician. He takes the time at every visit to make sure he is getting the full picture and coming up with a plan to help me. He is very kind and makes you feel comfortable in a not so pleasant situation. I would highly recommend him to anyone in need of a Urogynecologist.

He sat down with me and he wrote on the piece of paper all of my problems then he analyze them with me and explained everything that It needs to be done , he has very nice ,, bed manners “ and he never made me feel uncomfortable when he had to do an pelvic exam . His experience it shows and I believe he learned from the best DrNovi who was an wonderful Dr working with Dr pulvino .

My issues don’t directly reflect Pulvino but more so his incompetent staff. They are consistently rude to my elderly mother. They choose to argue with her rather than just making an appointment. Have been making her drive an hour for an appointment that was worthless. She asked to speak to Dr. Pulvino about surgery options and they told her they wouldn’t do that without her coming in in 3 months to check her again, and then they might be able to get her in after that to see him…. So, my advice…. Find someone who actually cares about your health because it isn’t this office!

Dr. Pulvino, along with my family doctor, changed my life. As a 34 year old wife, mother of two little ones and a teacher, being active post-pregnancy was difficult and left me constantly worrying about if, or well when, I would have an accident in public- including at work. Dr. Pulvino listened to my story with care, concern, and didn’t brush it off as “well, this is normal after having kids.” He was thorough in his explanations, carefully giving me options to choose from and which he thought was best. He and his staff were always kind and professional. He personally talked to my husband directly before and soon after my surgery to go over any concerns and post-surgery care. I would highly recommend him to anyone, especially to women who are trying to live life post-pregnancies and feel that their “leakage” is excessive and causing them to alter their lifestyle.

I guess the timing of my surgery Jan 7 2020 with the...you know Covid 19 pandemic really hurt my ability to get ANY type of follow up care from ANYONE. Might have known early that I was walking around with zero estrogen. I suggest testing woman AFTER hysterectomy for estrogen levels. Again I don’t know if this is normal or because of Covid 19 but my struggle has been real..

Dr. Pulvino is intelligent, kind and compassionate. He handled my surgery very nicely. Explained all of my options to me in detail. Never made me feel rushed about anything. He is truly a wonderful doctor and I would highly recommend him to anyone!

Dr. Pulvino and staff are very friendly and take the time to answer your questions. I'm very blessed to have a great doctor. I would recommend to anyone.

Dr Pulvino is amazing!! He is an amazing dr and surgeon. When all other obgyn dr's told me nothing was wrong, I found Dr Pulvino. He diagnosed me with appropriate tests with extreme thoroughness. After appropriate testing, his findings confirmed my concerns. I have never feft better..he gave me my life back!!! Any woman expierencing concerns reguarding your womans health, see Dr. Pulvino!!!
