Surgery went very well with only tiny scares @ points of incision. Still decreasing with time. Excellent bedside manner. Would recommend Dr. Robey to anyone in need of a general surgeon.

I did not have a chance to search or review for a surgeon of my choice. The pain was excruciating that Wednesday night. Off to Sibley Emergency Department. 16 units of morphine to quell the intense pain. Dr. Robey showed up telling that I had an inflamed gall bladder that was highly infected. I asked was a delay possible and was told maybe a day or two given the advanced stage -itis. We agreed to do the removal asap. By Thursday between 3 and 5 pm, the deed was done. He told me that usual operation is a standard outpatient matter but then no emergency operation is. I learned that he specialized in Bowel Obstruction, Colon and Intestinal Surgery, Laparoscopic Appendectomy, Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy, Skin Lesions , Surgery, Surgical Oncology, Thyroid, Trauma. I found out that he is well respected and viewed as a very competent surgeon by his peers at several hospitals. He was and once more chairs surgery at Suburban Hospital. Had to have emergency gall bladder surgery. Dr. Robey was the on call surgeon @ Suburban Hosp. He explained all the steps of the procedure. Dr. Robey answered all my questions fully & simply so I understood what was going to happen. His bedside manner is kind and patient. Followed up in the office a week later. I was seen in a timely manner by Dr. Robey. I would definitely recommend this skillful surgeon.

Dr. Robey is a superstar. I met him when he performed emergency surgery for my diverticulitis. He is a talented surgeon who has a terrific bedside manner and is endlessly patient. You cannot go wrong with him as a surgeon.
