Dr. Satterfield is truly one of the best doctors I've encountered in a long time. He makes you feel at ease and has a wonderful and joyful bedside manner. Not to mention he was great at his job, my surgery was painless and his follow up was thorough. I was so thankful for him. He made me feel at ease and made me smile every time I saw him.

This surgery is the first I've done with Dr. Satterfield and he provided me with the least painful surgery I've ever had. To this day, I've still yet to take a single painkiller. I would 100% recommend him to anyone who can use his services.

Dr. J. Satterfield came as a highly recommended surgeon from my PCP when I needed follow up for a suspicious finding on my mammogram . Upon meeting him, I immediately understood why he was so highly recommended. His professionalism, compassion, knowledge and great “bed side” manner was unparalleled. With that said it was without hesitation that I choose Dr. Satterfield to care for my mother when she received her diagnosis. I can not rave enough about Dr. Satterfield’s kindness and compassion. He listens and hears what his patients express. He is patient and answers questions and returns calls in a timely fashion.Dr. Satterfield is well respected by his colleagues. Each hospital visit the staff would rave about him. Dr. Satterfield has a presence/personality that lights up the room. It brings a sense of joy and peace that is especially needed in difficult situations. I adore his medical receptionist Annie as well. She has gotten me through some tough moments

Outstanding surgeon; very approachable; compassion and empathy to get you through the ordeal with ease and peace of mind. Had my first surgery 20 years ago and 3 subsequent surgeries with him over the years. A real sought out surgeon for success and confidence. The most surgery was to my uncle, a deaf-mute person, Dr Satterfield and his office showed extra care, understanding, patience through the entire process. This was a challenging process since my uncle did not understand sign language, but Dr Satterfield was extremely patient and made him feel warm and safe. In addition, his hernia was very big and needed extra time for surgery, Dr Satterfield kept me informed all the way. I was in tears after I saw my uncle showing me thumbs up…. I know a job well done.

In having my 3rd surgery with Dr Satterfield I still have great confidence in him and hoping that this will be the last surgery, I would recommend him to all my family and friends.
