Excellence at its best
I have been under the care of Dr. Schlais for 20 plus years for a variety of GI issues. He is always attentive and patient and willing to work with me regarding my treatment options. His knowledge, skill and compassion can not be beat.

Recent procedure

Very positive experience
The practice is well staffed with welcoming, skilled and attentive professionals. Each one went out of their way to answer questions and to offer kind support for a stressful procedure for me personally.After the procedure, I was in no hurry to leave that warm environment. Probably one of my best procedures. Dr. Schlais has attracted and maintained a great team.

Patient Procedure
From the moment I walked through the door, all the employees were very professional. There was no wait time to going back to the room, the employees went over the procedure, Dr Schlais came and went over everything. After the procedure, Dr Schlais came in and reviewed everything. Thank you for a great experience. Definitely would recommend Dr Schlais.

Most professional place to go!
This place is amazing. Everyone is friendly and professional and Dr. Schlais is one of the very best doctors I’ve known. I cannot say enough good things about this place. The nurses are awesome and so is the staff. I highly recommend GI Associates!

Each and every person assisting was exceptional in ways of care, kindness , respect, and efficiency. Dr. Schlais is best G I person I’ve ever known and I’ve had colonoscopies and consultations since I’ve been in my 50’s (now 77). Experience was all good.

This was my first colonoscopy and was quite worried, I heard many horror stories. Dr. Schlais explained everything well and put me at ease. On procedure day he and his staff along with all employees of GI Associates were pleasant, professional and just down right great. I highly recommend him and GI Associates in Wausau, WI.

Entire staff was efficient, proficient, and professional. Doctor took the time to ask if I had questions before and after procedure. After procedure Doctor used photos to explain findings and stayed in room until all my questions were answered.
