Dr. James Turk, DO

the most unfriendly office staff, very rude and short to work with. Came in with a referral for Keenan but he was very backed up so got stuck with Turk. Order a CT scan, and it took over week to get it scheduled due to insurance. Office failed to tell me I would have to bring a CD of the scan to the office in order to hear what the results were. Meanwhile, I'm still in pain and no answers. When I spoke to the imagining department that assured me that the ordering physician gets the results faxed right away. HERE I sit still wondering what is wrong and when called back they just continue to say must make an appointment to review the CD This would have been good to know 3 weeks ago when I got the CT scan. Lack of communication and professionalism. Never would I recommend this office I guess sense it's not them in pain there is no sense of urgency. I remember how wonderful the staff was years ago now they are just RUDE

I will not ever recommend anyone to Dr Turk. He should probably retire as it is very apparent that he is just going through the motions and not actually taking the time to listen and give patients proper care.

Great Doctor

I waited 10 days for an urgent appointment with Dr Turk. When I got to the office the wait seemed extensive. I was in pain and by the time I was called back to the examination room I was crying. The nurse nor the doctor asked if I was okay or if I needed anything. They quickly went through what I assume are their standard questions. Dr Turk immediately said that I needed another antibiotic, my 3rd and to call him in two weeks if not better. No culture or testing. Lazy doctoring. So frustrated!
