Dr. James Tweeten, MD

Dr. Tweeten implanted the wrong lens with my cataract surgery. I have been having problems with balance and vision since the surgery. Inter mountain Eye Center and Tweeten keep the problem from me until I saw another eye doctor and he received the records.

Dr. Tweeten has been my eye doctor for almost 30 years. He has treated holes in my retinas, performed PRK refractive surgery, treated occipital migraines, and performed annual vision appointments and corrections. He is always professional, polite, and efficient. He can’t retire.

He is a busy doctor so not much time for chatting, but smart and thorough! He caught some changes in my husband's eyes and is thoroughly checking them out. I'd recommend him!

Appointment was much better than past years - shorter wait times & much better flow. Nicer & quicker having entire exam in one room, rather than waiting in several rooms.

Dr. Tweeter is very efficient, knowledgeable and caring. He had a solution to my problem and will make the repair.

Dr. Tweeten always seems to care about each patient. I used to take my mother to see him, and now I have been seeing him since 2014 with my first cataract surgery. He is an amazing ophthalmologist!! My husband will also be a patient of his too since he now has a cataract growing and he needs more than what an optometrist can do. I went with my Sister to her appointment with Dr Tweeten after her cataract surgery. He was professional, helpful and kind. He spent an appropriate amount of time with her and answered all her questions. His staff went in depth with her about all details concerning her recovery. Dr Tweeten spends the majority of his time practicing the incredibly complicated and delicate art of eye surgery. I read in one review that he didn't spend enough time relating to the patient. The most important thing, in my opinion, is that relates to the patient's eyes. He will be doing my cataract surgery.
