Horrible! Put my young son on PPI for 7 years without any follow up or even proper explanation. He was dismissive and unpleasant, as if he was annoying him when asked questions. My son now suffers from chronic and serious issues as a result. This is a dangerous and irresponsible doctor.

Just a terrible experience during a scary time in my life when I didn't know what was going wrong with my body. Dr. Vecchio was cold, unsympathetic and dismissive. When I developed a complication due to my disease and called asking him to weigh in on the situation, he told me "find another doctor" - guess he doesn't like to be bothered outside of his 15 min office visit slot. I now travel to Dartmouth where I'm treated with the care and respect I deserve.

Lack of patience, condescending attitude, puts own ego over patient needs, poor ability to communicate effectively, not receptive to working with patients who have a difference of opinion over treatment recommendations. Experience at Dartmouth Hitchcock was far far superior. Not a patient centered physician. Worst experience I have ever had with any physician.

This is a doctor solely in it for the vacation days, as his orange hue and conduct illustrate perfectly. Lets hope you don't have anything that isn't strictly by the books, or Vecchio will sweep you under the rug and ignore anything about your condition which is too confusing or would require the courage and insight of a more talented doctor. Do not expect anything but the bare minimum from this charlatan.

Dr. Vecchio was very rude, condescending and dismissive. He definitely had the worst bedside manner of any doctor I have seen in my 47 years. I would not recommend him at all.

×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Vecchio?
Dr. Vecchio spent about 5 minutes in the room with me. He didn't even ask how I was or engage in any small talk. I felt rushed, confused, and uncertain if he was making the right choice based on his rapid fire questioning method. Really a poor experience with a medical professional who I'm paying to be in charge of my complicated health needs.
