Dr. James Vogt, MD

My wife and I have been working with Dr. Vote now for at least the last decade. He has proven to be a trustworthy and reliable and extremely knowledgeable doctor. He listens to his patience and provides the time necessary to answer their questions. He is probably the best doctor I have ever had in my 84 years. Without question, he is one of the very best doctors in Arizona.

Very Thorough and professional and kind

Dr. Vogt is kind, caring and compassionate. He is easy to talk too and I entrust him completely as my physician. I would like to mention that the MA that took care of us was completely opposite. I suffer from Aphasia and hearing loss due to a stroke I had six years ago. I rely on my daughter to come to my appointments with me to help me communicate. I have to look directly at who is talking too me too understand what they are saying. Angela the MA was impatient with me when I tried to adjust my hearing aides thru my phone. My daughter pulled down her mask to try to talk to me and Angela told her to put it up as it is Honorhealth’s policy. I do understand and respect policies however this was to communicate with me over my medical history. If exceptions cannot be made for people with disabilities then why would I want to continue with Honorhealth and be treated poorly and coldly by this assistant.

Dr. Vogt is caring and knowledgeable. Only complaint was that I had the first appointment in the morning and instructed to be 15 minutes early but the office was not open on arrival.

Dr. Vogt is very personable and professional. I felt like he really listened to my concerns, answered all my questions, and he didn’t rush through the appointment. Also, I didn’t wait long in the waiting room or in the exam room to be seen.

Excellent listening skills

Dr. Vogt has been our family doctor for many years. I cannot think of a better or more caring doctor. He is not only a true professional but his manner of care far surpasses any doctor we’ve had. If you are able to arrange for him to be your doctor do it!

Dr Vogt listens, really listens. His concern for your welfare is felt by by the patient by his outlined care. He uses all methods of tools for diagnoses, not just the traditional ones. My in laws had him for over 25 years. My husband and I agree, take good care of one generation, you earn respect in the following!

Dr Vogt is awesome. He takes time to listen and is easy to talk to. He includes you in decision making about your care while explaining the situation.

As always, my visits are thorough. There is a recap on my last visit, addition/deletion of meds, which leads to that day's visit. Dr. Vogt cares about his patients. With me, he follows up on each of my medical issues...diabetes, heart, cholesterol etc. I have been seeing him during his private practice, and his acceptance to Honor Health. As a doctor, his work ethics are exceptional..his personality is warm and his concerns are very deep. I would highly reccomend Dr. Vogt to my friends and family.
