Total hip replacement
Dr Widmaier is an outstanding professional . A younger person having had a partial hip replacement 8 years ago on my left side to this past year having a full hip replacement on my right was very rewarding for me . He went with robot assist and everything went so smoothly . I am not the average person so when I say he can get it done he is truly the best and will get it done . Recovery was very rewarding with force app by doing exercises when allowed. There is no job to BIG or to small for him to not get it right . Outstanding 100 percent

He listens to you!!! I would 110% recommend!
He actually listens to you, as well as Rachel Frable. What a great team. I was misdiagnosed for over a year and explained all my symptoms and they were checked and taken care of. I appreciate the fact that Dr. Widmaier is very personable and talks to you not at you. I can't say thank you enough!!

Above and beyond
As an amateur photographer and quantum physics enthusiast, I often focus and zoom in because the little things are big things for me. I needed a double hip replacement and Dr. Widmaier made sure I got rid of any habits that would impair my recovery, tested vitamin D levels, and encouraged exercise that would help me beyond surgery. He didn't just do the surgery; he cared enough to make sure I was on the right track. His nurses were also kind and caring. After the surgery, he took the time (time being in short supply for medical professionals) to personally call my caregiver and inform them the surgery was done rather than delegate that task to a nurse. There were many little things that showed me the bigger picture of a surgeon that truly cares, just the kind of surgeon I think this world needs.

Total hip replacement
I can’t thank Dr. Widmair and his team enough! Dr. Widmair came highly recommended by former patients of his. After hip replacement, I was walking unassisted 8 days after discharge. The at home P.T. through Force Therapeutics was awesome. I Highly recommend Dr. Widmair!!!

Great provider
I was extremely pleased with the depth of explanation of the procedure, down to providing details of what implants would be used for my hip replacement. I felt heard and understood by Dr. Widmaier and his CRNP Rachel Frable.

Replaced Hip
Dr, Widmaier in my opinion is the best there is. He listens to his patients and explains everything. He is caring and empathetic to his patient’s needs and concerns. Rachael his PA is the same what a great team. I am extremely happy with the outcome of my surgery. I couldn’t walk into the hospital the day of my surgery without extreme pain, my hip was that bad because I waited so long to have surgery . Less than two month after surgery I was walking without a cane thanks to Dr. Widmaier and my PT. and I am enjoying doing things and going places with my granddaughters that I couldn’t do before surgery.

Best trauma surgeon in the biz
Dr. Widmaier saved my bacon after a motorcycle accident in 2010. I had a severe pelvic fracture and his skills were paramount in getting me back walking again. I’d trust him again with my life. In fact he’s going to be replacing my hip later this year. Rachel (his PA) is also awesome. Straightforward, no-nonsense, and willing to work hard for her patients.

Simply put Dr. Widmaier ruined my life due to his neglegence. He is rude, talks down to me, and flat out lies to my face. I wish there was a different Dr. on call the day I was brought into the hospital.
