Dr. James Zuppa, MD

Six years ago, Dr. James Zuppa diagnosed my mother with Pancreatic Cancer, a cancer that generally gets missed by most primary care doctors. We had a diagnosis within about two weeks, which is unheard of in the PC world! Today, I am sitting in his office and got to thank him through tears for the 18 months of memories I got to make with Mom. I give him so much of the credit for helping her get treatment ASAP which led to her having longer than anyone expected, even her oncologists. There are a lot of questions we had when moving to Dalton, but who our family’s primary care physician was going to be was never one of them. I’m so thankful to be under his care for our entire family. He’s a rock star in our family, and that description for me is saved for only the best! ??

I make the drive from Ooltewah to Dalton for a reason. Doctor and staff are amazing and it's obvious that Dr. Zuppa is on top of his game. Highly recommend them.

My phone calls were answered by a REAL person. The office was easy to find and easy to access. Wonderful office staff! The lobby was very nice, not the typical sterile-looking medical office. There was minimal paperwork and a very short wait time. The doctor was pleasant, professional, AND dressed like a doctor. Very thorough, but practical common-sense approach, not a lot of unnecessary tests. He was a good communicator and he seemed interested in me and my child. The office staff even called me a few days later to check on us. Can definitely recommend this office and doctor.
