Dr. Jami Barnard, MD

I was previously a patient of Dr. Barnard and when my company switched insurances and she was no longer a provided I was really sad to leave. 3 years later and I’m happily back I just love her she’s quick and efficient but personable and so sweet!

At the end of my visit I was casually asked if I wanted my already existing lab work to be tested for STDs too. I took a second to think about it and the Dr said it was covered by the state of Texas anyway. So I said yeah why not, it’s free. Turns out it was not free and now I have an outstanding bill because by insurance doesn’t cover it all either. I called the office and they said the Dr would “never” say anything like that. But I would never agree to pay for extra tests that I didn’t need. So overall, I think how quickly she rushed through the appointment created a downfall in her service.

I have been with Dr. Barnard for almost 6 years and I absolutely love her, her energy and her compassion. She genuinely cares about her patients and their well-being. She doesn’t disregard my thoughts or concerns. I’m glad I gave this clinic a chance because I found a doctor worth keeping.

Dr. Barnard is my absolute favorite and really takes the time to make you feel like you’re more than just another chart

Dr. Barnard takes time to ask if I have concerns or questions, never rush and very sincere.

Dr. Barnard listens well and makes you feel comfortable with discussing sensitive topics.

This doctor gets right down to business but is super nice about it. She mess super caring and also informed me about everything she was doing during the exam.

Dr. Benard is a honest and trustworthy. She lets you know your options and does the best thing for you.

Im giving 5 stars because I think Dr. Bernard is great at her job and a nice person, but I want to put it out there that being honest and supportive about the excruciating pain of a colposcopy would make the experience less shocking and traumatic. I also would recommend adding local anesthesia for these procedures at this clinic. This is a larger problem with women’s healthcare not providing pain management when cutting off skin in our most sensitive area, but it would be awesome to see this addressed at this clinic. Thanks!

Dr Jami Barnard explained everything efficiently and to my understanding. She took excellent care of me during my exam, explained every step of the way. I am very thankful for her!

She asks the right questions, takes appropriate course of action and sends you on your way or refers you to a specialist. She cares about her patients.

Dr Barnard is the best! She’s so nice and always making sure you know what’s going on and are comfortable.

Dr. Barnard was very friendly, and took her time listening to all of my concerns. She had a great bedside manner and made me feel very comfortable with her immediately which is usually difficult for me. Will definitely be back to her. The office is still practicing COVID protocol.

Dr. Barnard is by far one of the kindest physicians I’ve visited in a very long time. She takes the time to listen and does not make her patients, or at least in my situation, feel rushed. In a day and age where it’s “get them JB and get them out” -she’s a breath of fresh air.

Dr Barnard is so great!! Makes every appointment easy going and comfortable. She was with me through my first pregnancy and hopefully the same for my next.
