Dr. Jamie Burrows, DO

My experience with her over the 5 years has been 5 stars every time. I had two major surgeries and I was attended to very well. I would recommend her highly.

Hopefully this was just a fluke experience… Monday I went to the ER (different ER than OB is connected with) for extreme high blood pressure, cramping, vision changes in early pregnancy. ER staff attempted to contact Dr. Burrows and was unsuccessful. I attempted to contact Dr. Burrows four times upon discharge the next day and was unsuccessful. Tuesday we had a repeat ER visit for worsening symptoms and I listed a new OB on my paperwork who immediately responded to the emergency. Today is Friday, I have called Dr. Burrows’ office four times Tuesday and three times today while leaving three voice messages all on different lines or extensions and have yet to hear a response. Conviently my portal account isn’t working so I have been unable to send a message to the team either. I am very concerned that in an emergency (and for five days after) I have been unsuccessful in contacting who was my original OB. I feel myself and baby were put in danger because of negligence.

She didn't tell me that this DNA product would cost me when she offered to me and I ended up paying a huge bill because of it

The front desk was unfriendly and unhelpful, they do not answer calls or return calls. I called over and over again to schedule first appointment and multiple times to correct a billing mistake. My insurance company and I could not get a response. Their billing issues took months to correct. Also, the carpet at Wickham office was so dirty I was concerned about overall cleanliness. Even if this is a good doctor, the experience was not worth repeating.

She is an absolute sweetheart BUT she is very difficult to get an appointment with. As much as I appreciate her I would not want another appointment with her colleagues EVER again.

I traveled to Winter Park for 20 years for my gyn because I could not find one as competent and kind as Dr. Denise Durkee. When my health insurance changed, I had to find a new doctor. It was a nightmare until a friend recommended Dr. Burrows. She is highly competent, has a excellent bedside manner and genuinely cares about her patients.

Dr. Burrows left me waiting for one hour because she was dealing with her kid who was running behind...I was the first appointment of the day so clearly she didn't care. I got over that and tried to go back for my annual exam the following year but she canceled. In fact, I have had three appointments over the past year but she canceled all of them with very little notice. Each time she cancels there is a wait of 4-6 months to get back on the schedule. I asked her to schedule mammogram and she did - but she won't issue refill for birth control until I see her again. Come on now... the reason I haven't had an appointment isn't an issue on my end... time to find another doctor.

Dr. Burrow’s is wonderful. She is king, knowledgeable, explains everything and makes you feel important. I highly recommend her.

Dr. Burrows is the absolute best doctor I have ever seen in any context. Her concern and care for me have gone so far above and beyond.... she's truly amazing. You won't find any better than her for any gynecological need.

2 years ago I had the privilege of being seen by Dr. Burrows for a surgery. I've never met a nicer doctor who talked to me like a friend instead of just like a doctor. She made me feel comfortable and made me feel like I mattered. You couldn't ask for a better doctor. :)

Dr. Burrows is the nicest GYN I have ever encountered. I had an urgent situation and had never seen Dr Burrows before. The secretary put me right through to Patty who contacted DR Burrows and got me in the next day.

Hands down the best doc I've ever had in Brevard County. :) Personally I drive about 15 miles for her service. My choice. Why? Cause she's worth it. Dr Burrows is a warm and friendly soul with exceptional bedside manner. You can totally trust her with your medical needs. Kickass surgeon too! Goes the extra mile to ensure the job is done right. LGBTQ friendly.

I JUST STARTED SEEING DR.BURROWS FOR ABOUT 2MONTHS NOW.THIS WOMAN IS THE NICEST DR.I'VE EVER HAD.ALTHOUGH WERE GOING THROUGH TOUGH TIMES FOR ME TO MAKE A SERIOUS DECISION ON HAVING A HYSTERECTOMY OR MOT.I HAVE OPTIONS IN WHICH WE'VE DISCUSSED AND IM TERRIFIED WITH ALL OF IT.DR.BURROWS HAS TAKEN SO MUCH OF HER TIME TO DISCUSS EVERYTHING WITH ME AND MY FAMILY.SHES SO SOFT SPOKEN AND I READ HER CAREFULLY..VERY RARELY DO YOU FIND PEOPLE IN THE MEDICAL FIELD THAT HAVE BEDSIDE MANOR ANYMORE..THIS DR#1

She became my doctor unexpectedly when I had to go to the hospital. She was the attending doctor that day. She delivered my baby and it was the best delivery I ever had. She's a very good doctor. I highly recommend her.

Ive been seeing Dr.Burrows for a little bit over 3 years now, she is a great doctor and knows how to explain things so you can understand. She is the best OBGYN I've ever had. Go see her!
