He has no bedside manner. As a matter of fact, seems condescending to his patients. Very slow to respond and not at all proactive in seeking the proper diagnosis and treatment.

His office needs educated on ADA laws. Family member was told they would not pay for an interpreter even though one was requested. WV is so behind the times as far as following ADA laws.

I have been with Dr. Ahmed for years. He has helped me tremendously. He explains everything to me. I have psoriactic arthritis and he has read about it and studied it and it is amazing how he looks at each of his patients differently and yet he knows what effects everything in your body. He is a great doctor and his staff is great too. If you think his bedside manner isn't great, well bedside manner isnt what you are seeing him for. He is excellent in treating his patients.

Dr Ahmed was assigned to me when I was hospitalized for a severe asthma attack. I saw him twice in 2,days for a few minutes .He asked questions and checked vitals. He was pleasant and calm. Asked me to follow up in 2 weeks. At the office, he wasn't there, he was treating someone in the hospital, since he is also a critical care Dr. The receptionist was rude when I was trying to figure out what to do since I had to be somewhere else. I ended up leaving after an hour he still hadn't arrived.

If you are healthy, he is fine but if you have multiple medical issues, he doesn't Understand how they interact with the lungs even after explaining it to him multiple times. Even after showing signs of improvement and other doctors trying to explain he was very negative and doesn't think that I am able to heal and keeps trying to talk my family into putting me on "comfort medicine" because he believes life isn't worth living because I am no longer able to get out of bed.
