Dr. Allen is a great doctor. He listens to you and takes time. The staff is professional and also friendly. Some negative comments may have been from when the Geneva office was just being set up and permanent files and employees were not yet in place.

Dr. Allen always spent a lot of time with me, listening to my concerns. Much longer than other doctors. The office has a friendly, family atmosphere. I definitely recommend this place!

Did not even get a chance to see the doctor. Office personal very irresponsible. Made an appointment 10 days out and filled out form to get my record transfer from previous doctor, didn't happen. Call prevoius doctor and they never received the request and on top of that they could not even find the form that i filled out so they asked mee to fill out new form and tried to give me an appointment 3 weeks out. That was ridiculous and i walked out. Seems like they didn't care.

One of the worst doctors I have ever been to. First they take me as an HMO patient then they call and say they made a mistake they don't take hmo and I have to find a new doctor. Counter help is dishonest, lied about the ability to pay cash. Not only this but my primary care physician who was my doctor for hmmm 30 years retired and sold it to this hack. This doctor is dishonest, won't even speak to his patient, who has concerns from being cut off from meds he has taken for a decade! AVOID

Dr. Allen takes his time and truly cares about his patients. The office staff is very friendly and helpful which makes this office welcoming and comfortable. Everyone goes out of their way for you here, I highly recommend him.

I'm extremely frustrated with the lack of responsiveness at the Sycamore Medical Associates office. I went into the office for an annual physical and Dr. Jamison examined me and listened and he recommended I go to a specialist. I have need a written referral which the can't get sent to the specialist and my physical results. I feel extremely frustrated and if they don’t response than I’ll have to go to another doctor and pay for my own physical. My medical plan only pays for one physical a yea

Dr. Allen has always been an excellent physician in my experience. He listens very well, asks detailed follow up questions, and makes sound recommendations. His medical staff have always been great as well. The reception experience is another thing altogether, and enough to make me consider finding another Doctor. Good luck getting someone to answer the phone! If it doesn't go straight to the answering service, then you get caught in a rudely voiced IVR loop, or end up leaving a message.

Absolutely would not recommend. Dr. Allen recommended 3 tests, all of which I had performed, paying $3,000 out of pocket. 2 months later still no word from him as to results. I should never have waited so long, but finally called and was told he was buried in paper work and I should have called sooner. I wait 2 months to now find out there was a problem with my echo cardiogram, and he says I need to see a cardiologist. Do not waste your time with this so called Doctor.
