Highly Recommend
Dr. Franko took time with us during my mother’s appointments with him to explain options and risks clearly. He was very caring and kind, and made sure all of our questions were answered! He was personable and although he gave us his recommendation was very clear that my mother was in charge of the medical choices that were being made regarding her care. I would highly recommend him to anyone who might find themselves in need of an oncology surgeon!

I would highly recommend him. He treated me as a person and not just a number and looked at me as he explained things. Very personal reminds me of Dr. Reed who I had many years ago.

I was told I had Pancreatic Cancer & I went to Dr. Jan Franko in Sept 2018 & he told me & my family in easy terms what he could & would do, if he did the surgery. We liked him real well & let him do the 7 & half hour surgery. Everybody including nurses could not believe how well I come thru the surgery at 71 yrs of age. He was almost sure he got 99% of the head of pancreas with mass in it. In Oct. 2019 my Chemo Dr. said I was cancer Free. Between them all I have blessed with good Dr.'s & Nurses!!!

My husband was referred to Dr Franko because he had a mass on his pancreas. Dr Franko told us that it could be one of three things: cancer, cancer or cancer. After a biopsy turns out it was NOT cancer. Will NEVER go back to him. He is very rude, does not explain anything and his staff are just as bad.

I appreciate his bedside manner, which includes explaining things in a fashion where I understand it, and he is on top of the latest techniques. I went to another well known facility that didn't even recommend the treatment plan that Dr. Franko did. So that made me feel like he truly dug in and found all of the options out there that he could for me. I also appreciate the kindness of his staff who are very sweet and compassionate and returned my calls promptly.
