I had to have emergency surgery, I hadn’t met Dr. Simonds until after the emergency surgery was taken care of,I must tell you for a Surprise surgery Dr Simonds was extremely kind, warm and professional she explained every little detail everything step by step and I felt like I was talking to a friend and not my md. I highly recommend Dr.Simonds. Hopefully in 6 months I can have the surgery reversed and ask Dr Simonds to put me back together ??

Poor.dr diamonds did not address my concerns or problems after surgery. This created compounding problems instead of solving them.

Dr. Simonds literally saved my husbands life. He was transferred from another hospital in a emergency situation and she had to do emergency surgery right away. She was very compassionate and had empathy for our situation. He spent 5 days in the hospital and she came and personally visited him daily regardless of how busy she was or how many other patients she was careing for. When we got home she called randomly just to check in and took care of his wounds at every follow up appointment and explained everything. Highly recommended Doctor.

Dr. Simonds is a great surgeon! I had been suffering from hemorrhoids for years and fissures for a couple of months when I visited her. She was very patient with me. She did not jump into performing a surgery right away. She spent months to treat my problems without a surgery (I think this shows how much she cares about her patients). I ended up having a surgery. She did a great job (no infections etc.). I feel very lucky that our paths crossed and I am fully recovered. I highly recommend her!

Dr. Simonds was very accommodating, squeezing me into her schedule to a hernia repair so I could get back to my active life ASAP. She was very communicative and worked with me to avoid opiates as I am a recovering heroin addict. Both her team and the anaesthesiologist spoke to me individually to help ensure that I would not be even offered opiates or given to them under anaesthesia Dr. Simonds even was able to check her calendar on her phone before the surgery to squeeze me in for a post op.

I was quite anxious about my upcoming colon surgery. I met with Dr. Simonds and she was able to explain in detail what was involved, what to expect, and what not to worry about. She even drew me a map of what she expected to find, and how she was going to fix it. Surgery went very well. Dr. Simonds visited me often during my recovery. For major surgery, Dr. Simonds made it all seem easy.

I was not happy with my experience with Dr Simonds. I had to take my child there who was in extreme pain to begin with. A procedure was needed to be done on my child which caused even more pain. I do not think enough was done to prevent the amount of pain that was experienced. Nor do i think that Dr.Simonds showed very much compassion or empathy for the pain my child was experiencing. Not all people have the same amount of tolerance of pain and this should always be considered with every patient
