Got her medical degree in a box of cracker jacks!
Horrible. She took over my care in the hospital from an excellent doctor. But she releases me from the hospital with a blood pressure of 189. If your blood pressure is over 180 you're supposed to go to the hospital. Why release me in this condition. My electrolytes were messed up. I had severe pain in my muscles and legs where I could barely walk. Informed her and the staff about it and didn't do squat. Had swelling in my feet. She did nothing. And now she says oh just call an ambulance and go to the emergency room again and go to the hospital. I was just in there. Why don't you do your job and fix me so it's okay to go home without pain without high blood pressure I would not let her treat my dog. I love my dog too much. Going to file a complaint with the hospital administrator.

Compassionate and caring
Dr Detrich has excellent bedside manner. She is an astute clinician who never gives up on her patients. Communicates with family members just like they were her own. She also coordinated care with nursing team and other consultants in difficult situations very diplomatically. Would recommend Dr Detrich hands down anyday.

Dr. Dietrich truly cares about the needs of her patients and fights for what’s best for them. She is a great listener & provides not only sound medical advice but comfort and compassion as well.

Zero stars if it was allowed. Terrible. She literally said "I don't have time for this" the "this" being my father. He was less than 24 hours out of ICU when she discharged him and sent him to a LTACH (after we were told by his Oncologist that he would be in the hospital about another 5 nights before they discharged him - she overruled him and demanded my father be discharged).

my mother has been in and out of Mercy Oklahoma all year long for very serious problems, Dr. Dietrich comes from a very negative stance. This has been the worst year for our family and Dr. Dietrich acts like she is bothered by seeing my mother 50% of the time the last 2 months. (Her exact words to my mother). I dont like this dr and would never recommend her to anyone. Trust me if I never see the inside of a hospital again in my life I will be happy

Gives good direct, brief and written reports. Pays attention to detailed charting history and patient medication details. Good Medical Hard skills, needs improvement with soft shills. Did communicate details of lab work. Does not seem to really want to visit with patient but staff like and respect her. Never called patient by name. Questions below # 2, 3 and 4 are not applicable in given setting.

My recent experience with this individual was wretched to say the least. Told me she made multiple visits to my room while I was not there but within sight but it was not her job to let someone know she was there. Was further told the problem I had was not a valid one. She honestly has the bedside manner of a self proclaimed God, thinking she is God's gift to Medicine. My main problem was barely acknowledged. I am not one to be condecended to, and she and the 4th floor of Mercy know it.
