Appointments are never rushed
Dr Kao always takes her time. She explains everything so we can understand exactly what has changed, what the next course of treatment will be. She treats us like family and I am so grateful for all she has done for G and our whole family

Best of the Best
We have been seeing Dr. Jane Kao since I was 4 months pregnant with my almost 18 year old daughter. My daughter was born with multiple congenital heart defects (CHDs) and must be followed by a pediatric cardiologist throughout her life. I feel like I was given a huge blessing when we were referred to Dr. Kao by our Neonatologist.Dr. Kao has been my calming assurance as we have navigated the CHD life. Any time I have had an issue arise or a question come to mind, I have found that she is easily accessible. She is very compassionate and caring and never over reacts in any situation. I trust her completely with what she tells me is going on with my daughter’s heart. I know she will not steer me wrong. If you are looking for a pediatric cardiologist, I highly encourage to reach out to Dr. Jane Kao. She is one of the best doctors you could ask for!

Excellent Physician
Amazing physician with an extensive knowledge base of pediatric conditions and many years of experience. She has cared for my brother with HLHS for 21 years and has gone above and beyond to answer questions, provide support, and advocate for him throughout his childhood and into adulthood.

Long wait for pediatric care.
We waited 45-50 minutes to be called back. We had to wait 20 minutes to see Dr. Kao and then we waited another 50 minutes to see the sonographer. This was probably one of the worst places to go that doesn’t value your time. Simple communication from the front staff saying that they are running behind if we wanted to go walk around the courtyard instead of waiting in the waiting room for that long. The waiting room was so small and fully packed with upset kids. When I was leaving the front desk had her son in there next to her while he was sitting there coughing with out his mouth being covered. The staff joked around about it. Also while waiting they were making appointments to get their nails done. So unprofessional.

Dr. Kao has been my sons cardiologist for almost 18 years and we couldn't be more pleased. The office staff is always helpful and energetic, and they have always been flexible when working with other providers. Our visits are always thorough and we leave with a great understanding of what's next.

Dr. Jane Kao diagnosed our son with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome a few months before he was born. She took the time to answer a multitude of questions for us while providing great comfort & concern on what proved to be one of the scariest days of our lives. Dr. Kao gave us detailed information about Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome while explaining the series of surgeries that our son would need in order to survive. She’s continued to be an advocate for Tate and has provided excellent & progressive healthcare for him for the past 17 years. Dr Kao is an excellent physician, but even more than that, she’s always treated us as family. She’s been a mentor to our oldest son, who has recently graduated from medical school. Tate is a happy and active 10th grader. He’s on the A/B Honor Roll, serves on the Student Council and just qualified for the UIL 4A State Golf Tournament. Tate might have been born with only 1/2 of a heart, but he lives and loves wholeheartedly. We love Dr. Kao!

Dr. Kao saw me while I was pregnant with my daughter. She told me to abort her right away and there was no explanation as to why. She had no bedside manner and had no care that I was young and alone. I will NEVER refer anyone to her office EVER.

We’ve been to dr Kao for over 2 years now, and i have nothing but great restaurant things to say about her. Wait times are short, office staff is great, and and Dr Kao herself is very friendly and understanding. She listens to her patients (parents) and factors that into her assessments. I was able to get a last-minute appointment once when i needed one. I trust her expertise and value her input in my daughters care.

Dr. Kao has been caring for my childs heart condition for about 20 years. She was able to detect an aneurysm at one of our routines check ups with no other indications or symptoms.I had trusted my daughters life to her since she was born.
