Dr. Janet Abrams, MD

She is very rude and mean with me. Dr. Should be nice with patients but she is not. I prefer never go back to her again.

Dr. Abrams is rude and condescending. She bills your insurance and doesn’t perform the task that comes with the bill. She is dismissive and arrogant. Dr Abram’s needs to reconsider her career in health.

Tramatic, I am very surprise that this woman is allowed to still practice medicine with all the negative reviews.

I was not happy with my visit to Dr Abrams. She is very arrogant and very unfriendly. I will never go back to her.

I think Dr. Abrams is a wonderful doctor. At every appt I've had, she is meticulous, attentive and professional. She always addresses all my concerns/questions; she checks everything out and explains everything clearly and works to resolve all issues. And when I needed a particular surgery, she took the time to help me make an informed decision and she helped me find the right surgeon and then followed up by phone and email to see how I was recovering. She is a very engaged doctor.

I recently visited Dr. Janet Abrams, and almost felt traumatized about that experience. She was literally the rudest physician I have ever encountered, utterly dismissive and condescending, and she makes no effort in trying to hide her nastiness. Dr. Abrams didn’t listen well, and certainly didn’t bother to answer questions in a respectable way. At last, she left the room without a proper goodbye so that I was left in the exam room wondering what was happening. I simply cannot trust my health with an individual that obviously has so much room for improvement as a human being, not just as a doctor. I will never go back to her office, nor will recommend her to anyone.

I have never felt so uncomfortable leaving a GYN before. She was extremely dismissive, told me that I didn't have a medical condition that I have been living with for about 5 years now and didn't at all take the time to address my concerns. She did not at all try to make me feel comfortable when examining and which as a result left me in actual pain. Will definitely not be going back and recommend that no one else does.

Ive seen her twice & both times I felt rushed, judged, & dismissed. During my initial consult, I expressed that I was BRCA 2 positive & informed her of my future plans to get a mastectomy & hysterectomy because of the fact. She looked at me like I had 7 heads and made me feel like I didnt know what I was talking about even though I had done tons of research & consulted with two other doctors who agreed with my plan. The last time I consulted with her was in regards to birth control & she didnt let me voice any of my concerns and barely answered my questions. I felt rushed. Shes also cold and not approachable which made me feel intimidated. I wouldnt recommend her at all and Ive already switched gyn providers.

Dr Abrams didn’t take into consideration the pain she was causing me. She wanted me to get a MRI for no reason. I will never go back to her.

Absolutely one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had with a doctor. Almost got talked into a completely unnecessary procedure. Very condescending as well. You also won’t get your test results back like ever, unless you badger the practice 600 times. Not worth it.

When it comes to visiting an obgyn I have a high anxiety, but not with Dr. Abrams. I have been her patient for a several years. With her knowledge, experience, patience and the utmost respect, I feel incredible and upto date about my health. The doctor is very straight to the point and won't play games with you. Facility is also clean and waiting time is not too crazy, usually on time.

Have seen few gyn’s before and never liked anyone like Dr Abrams Knowledgeable, compassionate and pleasant . Would recommend Dr Abrams without any reservations .

I'm giving her one star because she is clearly knowledgeable. HOWEVER, she is the most condescending doctor I have ever encountered (I've never felt the need to complain about any doctor before). She has very little concern for her patients' level of comfort with procedures. Obviously competence is most important, but she is someone who clearly lets her personal issues affect her work and attitude toward patients. If you'd like a doctor who is minimally compassionate, absolutely look elsewhere.

I really cannot agree with these negative reviews. Dr. Abrams was professional, courteous, and thorough in her evaluation. Everything you would want and expect in a doctor. She took the time to discuss all options available to me. At 37, I have finally found a GYN that I am extremely happy with and I've already recommended her. I rarely right reviews of anyone, or any place but some of these reviews are just plain wrong.

BEST DOCTOR EVER! Figured out my problems right away. Don't listen to the negative comments. Of course you have to wait long for her, she's incredible

She is lovely. Spends lots of time asking questions and answering them.

My First Visit with Janet Abrams, She is a doctor who does not like to be questioned. She does not have respect for expressed needs or concerns of her patient. She made an unprofessional comment about my concern for my health. She gave me a diagnosis with out getting any results from the test she ordered. She contradicted what my prior GYN doctor had in my record. 4)She needs to check and review patients prior records, surveys and prior visits before seeing patient. Will not see her again

Each time I went to see Dr. Abrams she kept me waitng more than an hour. She simply runs in and if you are not dying in front of her, she just wants to order any test she can think of to cheat your insurance. She does not take the time to explain to patient if anything, especially if she feels it is not life threatenig and that she can figure out a way to continue to milk your insurance company for Tests that are Not necessary. She is pretentious, curt and clearly dishonest. Do not go her!
