Dr. Janet Cheng, MD

We had our first visit with Dr. Cheng. Her office is spotless. Her staff is professional and friendly. Dr. Cheng did the most thorough new patient exam my husband and I have ever had. Her bedside manner is excellent, she explains everything. We are so glad to have found Dr. Cheng in Cape Coral.

Visited on 2/1/2022. First appointment - Skin check. She froze lots of spots on my face and a few other places. She bill Aetna $1,098 and bill Medicare $616.35. No biopsy's.

Dr. Cheng is amazing. I learned more about my skin from her in one visit than I have from all the other dermatologists I've visited over the past 20 years. She's knowledgeable, personable, capable and I'm delighted that I waited as long as I had to to see her. She is the best!

She is super thorough. I've had a couple procedures done and the healing process has been seamless each time. She is not the most outgoing person and not very chatty, but her quality of work is amazing. Any questions you may have she's always willing to answer. Very professional and the staff is great. Make sure you schedule your appointment in advance, because she does get booked up pretty quick!

This Dr is the real deal!!! One of the best in my opinion. Very thorough, leaves nothing to guess at with melanoma in our family. Great follow-up, knowledgeable, friendly, not arrogant, and truly compassionate...Highly recommend!!!

Dr Cheng is very caring. She took extra time to call me and discuss treatments for a diagnosis of a disease that is difficult to treat. She answered all my questions and waited a while before leaving the examination room to give me time to be sure I had no more to ask. She is considerate and thorough.

I have been going to Dr Cheng for a number of years now after having spent years as a child frying in the Florida sun unprotected. She is amazing, kind, knowledgeable and thorough. Dr Cheng is patient and has a gentle sense of humor.

Dr. Cheng's VERY nice. On occasion she runs behind schedule (less so now than in past) because she's taking the time to be thorough in her examinations & explanations with patients. Her emphasis is on identifying & treating precancerous matters BEFORE they worsen to a cancerous stage, & this she does very well (lesser matters can & often are treated by her very nice PA who can usually see patients sooner than Dr. Cheng can). Only 1 "negative" - too quick to take photo of your face for the EMR.

I wouldn't recommend this dermatologist. Extremely long wait times with short appointment. Diagnosis not explained.

Dr. Cheng office was phenomenal. From beginning to end. They were very professional and polite and the doctor was even better. I will recommend them to anyone looking for a dermatoligist

I would never recommend this clinic since they will not make appointments without you giving your SSAN on the phone.

I called this morning to make an appointment with Dr. Cheng. I spoke with Karen the Receptionist. She wouldn't schedule me an appointment because I didn't have my Husbands social security number right away. I told her my Husband was on business and I would need to call her back with it. She didn't care and stated they can't schedule without it. I have worked in the medical field and our Dr's Would of never toleratedd us acting that way and lose a New patient. Too bad, the Dr. Was rated high.
