Dr. Janette Stephenson, MD

We selected Dr. Stephenson as our OB due to the proximity to our house. However, at EVERY appointment, her staff tried to guilt me into the fact that the Beachwood location is better for them for ultrasound machines because the ultrasound machine they have in Broadview Heights is ancient and doesn't have working wheels. I explained that we ONLY selected Dr. Stephenson due to convenience to home and if we were going to Beachwood we would have 1) found another doctor, or 2) switched care to the high risk doctor. We switched care to the high risk doctors since it was an option. The guilt trips from the staff became a bit too much, but the final straw was when I went in for an appointment and they had me pee in a paper cup and put it in the metal doorway for urine specimens. There were FOUR other cups of urine (again, paper cups) in the little cabinet where mine barely fit in there. It was gross. Add to the fact that I was the ONLY patient in the office so the other cups were old.

I saw Dr. Stephenson for the first time last week. Waited 1 1/2 hours. Receptionist was rude, made a future appointment for me without asking me if the time would work for me. I am still waiting a week now for the script she was to call in for me. Saw my results on their patient site, so what! I don't know what they mean! I would appreciate a call or a letter explaining them to me. I don't feel confident she will take care of my health.

Dr. Stephenson is the best doctor. She has been my doctor for years. Even if she wasn't in my plan, I would still go to see her. She is a trusted advisor and a really kind, caring, and wonderful doctor.

Dr. Stephenson has always been courteous and professional when I go to my scheduled appointments. I even asked her if she would be my primary doctor I was very pleased with how she took time out to ask questions and listen to my questions. I will and am recommending her to someone else who is currently looking for an OBGYN doctor.

Wait times are CRAZY at the Broadview Heights location. She was over an hour late both times and didn’t apologize either time. The staff seemed unbothered by it, so I’d suspect it’s pretty typical.

Dr. Stephenson has been my doctor for the past decade. She is awesome. Always nice and takes time out to listen to concerns. I highly recommend her! If i had to list a downfall it would be that she's very busy. However this doesn't effect her level of care.
